Introduction: I am a storyteller at heart. Every editing project that I take on, my ultimate goal is to seek out the content that stands true to the message of the piece. I find that too many editors are technically skilled and proficient with their editing, yet lack the most fundamental element, which is editing to obtain a truthful & emotional response. The viewer must resonate with the piece, whether he or she is a marketing executive trying to brand a new product or a television executive hoping to win audiences over with a taboo-breaking pilot episode. Thee most rewarding part of my job is during the final stages of editing a piece; seeing all the elements of the post-production process come together and fulfill the clients needs.
