FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for a project is a slippery slope. Gone are the days of blindly billing hourly for a project without raising eyebrows. I try to be as flexible as I can with my pricing, and most times that not, as long as both parties are willing to negotiate a touch, I find a way to make the budgets work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My interest in the visual arts landed me at the University of the Arts. After college, I spent many years working in the film and video industry, and began dabbling in web and graphic design seven years ago. Five years at two different Philadelphia film production companies put me in positions where I handled all of the design work for the companies: designing websites, fundraising packets, film graphics, marketing campaigns and anything else that was needed. After having a ton of design experience, I decided to head out on my own and established the multimedia company, GI Creative.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I spend most of my time creating posters for Independent films as well as theme customizations for WordPress. I also do a good amount of logo/identity creation as well as sub-contracting for a number of design boutiques where I design website front ends.
