Introduction: I am a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, receiving my certification at Yogi Hari's Ashram in FL in 2014. I currently teach yoga in Philadelphia, PA, drawing on 11 years of experience with the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Sivananda styles. My yoga practice aims at balance through breath control, posture, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, improving mobility, and focusing the mind. I have studied various forms of movement and choreography including yoga, martial arts, dance (belly dance, break dance, African, Afro-Cuban), aerial arts (pole, lyra, silks) as well as fire dancing with props (contact staff, fire fans and poi). I am currently working on a PhD in Neuromotor Science. I love Yoga. It is a practice that creates change in my life in a number of ways. It brings balance to my body and mind and helps me remained focused and calm through all that life throws at me. I love sharing this practice with others and helping others get that connection to their mind and body.
