Anne is terrific! She has been tutoring my 13-year-old daughter in Spanish since June. Over the summer, she helped fill in the gaps in her knowledge of 7th grade Spanish, including the preterite tense. Now, Anne is helping to ensure that she stays on top of the material in 8th grade. I highly recommend her!

I have been getting tutored by Kate for a few months and she has really improved my speaking skills. Most teachers and tutors focus on reading and writing but Kate has been awesome at creating scenarios for using Spanish in real life. We barely use any Spanish during our lessons. I highly recommend Kate as a tutor for anyone looking to improve their conversational skills!

My son has been attending Omega for a few months now. He just started 3rd grade. We recently moved to the area and he was going to be starting a new school so I wanted to make sure he was 100% ready for 3rd grade. Not only is he ready, he's doing amazing! I have never heard so many positive comments from a teacher about my son before! Homework time isn't a fight anymore, he looks forward to school, and is always excited to go to omega. He loves his teacher there ( yes it is a REAL teacher) and they have really helped by adapting to his learning styles. I also love how I receive daily emails about his progress. It's nice because if he's struggling with a concept I can talk to his teacher and we can work together to get him to understand. He also loves the prize shelf! He's always so excited when I pick him up from omega and he actually wants to tell me what they did and what he learned. Omega has been a blessing to my family and I highly recommend their tutoring services to anyone!

About

I offer Math secondary tutoring. I am a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic teacher of mathematics. My primary motivation in teaching mathematics is to foster in students an investigative and enquiring mind, an appreciation of logic and an understanding of how mathematics is interwoven into all facets of life. I want to work in a learning environment that will allow me the opportunity to promote numeracy across the school. I work well within a team as well as on my own. I thrive under pressure and I am able to work to set timescales. I believe that I have an innate ability to relate to a wide cross section of people. I am looking forward to fostering relationships with teaching practitioners, support staff, parents, carers and students

If your son or daughter is struggling in school, it might be time to consider getting them extra help. Often times, elementary concepts do not hit home, and the proper foundation for many different reasons does not lay: because of this, children will struggle later on due to this foundation not being solidified. I can offer your child assistance in Mathematics, reading, language, phonics, test prep, study skills, etc. I am married and father of five children, ages 6-20. I have a wealth of experience. From one parent to another, our days are so much easier when our kids do not struggle with school and homework. Let me help you! I will travel a reasonable distance to your home, and hourly tutoring charge of $25.00 to $30.00.
