Andrew does amazing work. We hired him to hand some new interior doors and replace our ugly, old trim and the final product looks incredible. He is a true craftsman which is hard to find these days. He is meticulous and made sure everything was perfect before he left. He also was kind enough to tighten one of our exterior doors that was giving us problems AND fix our loose garage door opener when he saw it was missing a bolt, all without a second thought. I would highly recommend him for any work projects you have. We liked him so much we will be using him for other future renovations we have planned for layer this year. Thank you so much Andrew!

Jason Installed electrical outlets in my bedroom and attic. He was able to snake wire through 100 year old walls along with improving my overall electrical system. I will definitely have Jason back for more work in the future. Thanks

He was quick to respond to the online post and he showed up on time to give a very reasonable estimate for our attic. Despite the small access to our attic, he was able to put in floor boards within hours.

Joe did an excellent job for me in repairing an attic ladder. It was a challenging job that several contractors had turned down or were very expensive. Joe did research on the parts and best way to repair - I really appreciated that. Great customer service, professional. I would definitely use It's a Breeze Contracting again and refer my friends. Wernier has worked both with our heating and cooling needs. He has serviced our units for years. Our hot water furnace was replaced about 5 years ago. We love the more energy efficient unit. Our air conditioning unit is in the attic..not an easy place to work. Wernier replaced it two seasons ago and it works wonderfully. Wernier helped us find the best unit for our needs and rebates that made the home improvement manageable. Currently, Wernier is replacing some filmy baseboards that a contractor put in our kitchen. Quality work from a nice guy.

We hired Good Fellas Contacting to insulate and drywall our attic. We also ended up adding electrical work and priming. Overall we were very pleased with the work. Victor and Ronnie were great in accommodating our schedule for an estimate. They came early in the morning, which was best for us with two young children. We went with their company because of how friendly and professional they were. They also told us they could have the job done in 5 working days. We did add on electrical work and were hoping to have the room both prime and painted, which added on an additional two days. Work started on a Wednesday and was completed the following Saturday. They ran out of time to paint but they did prime. We were living at our in-laws for the duration of the project and so did not want to be gone longer than we already had. A few things happened that delayed our project. Some of it was just bad timing. Ronnie got sick and missed three days. Victor was out of town and then could not return when he thought – in fact he was gone for most of our project, which was a bit disappointing. I did ask Victor to call me twice, to go over the plan for the project once we knew there would be some delays, but he never did. He said he thought Ronnie had answered all my questions and Ronnie said he had told Victor to call me. We think there was just a breakdown in communication, which was frustrating. However, Ronnie more than made up for it once he was feeling better. We couldn’t fault him for being sick; it was just bad timing with his partner out of town. He and Jeremy, his co-worker, worked 10 to 12 hour days, so that they could finish by Saturday and we could move back home. Both he and Jeremy were very friendly, nice guys. The work turned out great and our attic is very close to being finished (we still need paint and carpet). They did everything they said they would, including moving all of our things that were in the attic into the storage compartments around the perimeter of the room that they made for us. They also did a good job cleaning up. The bedroom they had to walk through to get to the attic door had brand new carpeting and they put plastic down and kept it in perfect condition. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend Good Fellas Contracting. We plan on getting estimates from them for additional work we would like done in the future.

I'm an industrial design engineer and I've been renovating property in Pittsburgh for 10+ years and I decided to hire James for two weeks to help get an 1800's house that I bought rent-able until I could revisit the house more intensly in the future. Long story short, I quickly determined that I could count on Jim and his men to show up and get down to business on a higher level. We ended up gutting the entire house, jacking up the foundation, restructuring anything that was questionable, adding and redesigning bathrooms, running all new pex water lines, new electric and new gas lines. We installed all new windows, insulation, plumbed for an additional kitchen for possible future needs. We installed new headers and opened up rooms to meet code standards, leveled floors and ceilings by adding wooden drop cieling grids and installed drywall throughout. We are currently finishing drywall and getting ready to start all the final flooring and trim work and I'm completely satisfied thus far and would not hesitate to keep them working on my property portfolio. Here are a few qualities that he and his crew display that are hard to find: --They show up on time and enjoy working regardless of the conditions. We had quite a few miserable demo days with nothing but positivity. --They don't go straight to the bar after work, they go home and spend time with their family. --They are honest. Alot of contractors will tell you they know all about everything just to find out they are faking it. If Jim didn't know something, we worked on the solution together and didn't have to backtrack, wasting time and money. --Working hrs were well kept and I didn't have to worry about my personal tools or materials coming up "lost" or missing. --They really do care about how you feel about your project and have no problem going with the flow when I constantly change my mind on design. --They are physically capable. Say you need a dumpster loaded or 100 sheets of drywall moved around the job site, it's not a problem and nobody complains. --Willingness to learn. I've done alot of improvising with OLD houses and they want to use any experience or knowledge to their advantage. All in all, it is a great experience and I'll have them back to work with me on my personal home this spring. I'll add pictures soon.

They were very prompt in coming to our home to identify the problem, which was mold in the attic. They treated the problem with their product, then retested the area to make sure the quality of the air was good. We were very satisfied with their work, neatness and the cost. We would certainly recommend them .

I hired HFH Construction Services to complete renovations on my row house in Bloomfield. William and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable in all types of construction. I did not have to look to hire any other contractors such as an electrician, painter, plumber, etc. I contracted HFH first to remodel my first floor living room and dining room which they did such a terrific job I brought them back to do a complete remodel of my kitchen and bathroom and again to turn my unfinished attic to a third bedroom. They are very experienced and were able to give me great recommendations through all phases of home renovations. HFH took their time and did not move on to the next project until my approval was met. I am in the process of buying another house and plan on hiring them again. I highly recommend HFH from your basic handyman services to large construction projects. You will not be disappointed with their work!

I had a window and door opening to insulate and brick. I requested a proposal on Thumbtack and Shannon immediately emailed me on Friday afternoon. He bid my job Saturday and completed the job on Sunday! His work and price were fantastic. I have two other masonry jobs at my house and I won't call anyone else!

Patch installed drywall in the attic of our home turning it into a useable bedroom for our daughter. On a separate occasion he helped install kitchen cabinets. Both times he was on time with schedule and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend others to use his services! Thank you Patch!!

I'm so happy with the results after the insulation installation. Instead of my furnace coming on every 10 minutes, now it stays off for almost 20 minutes. Big difference on the same day of installation.
