FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge between $35.00 (1 person just me) and $65.00 (2 people if the job requires it) an hour almost half of this goes to cover taxes and business expenses, I carry full coverage insurance if I am doing one plug and it takes 15 minutes I do not charge for the hour only the time I am working. I add a small charge for fuel usually $10.00 and show the customer the price before I begin doing the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk with them about their needs. All work must be reviewed before starting. Develop a scope of what needs done to complete the job. work with the customer to make sure it is done the way they want, and keep it clean and neat
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the construction industry for about 20 years. Serving homeowners doing remodeling, plastering, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical work. I moved in strictly electrical work about 10 years ago and use my knowledge of the other trades to make the job look nice when I'm finished. it also helps when working to know the different types of housing structures.
