We have had two pre-purchase home inspections done by Clearview Home Inspections Eccl.9:10. On both occassions, Mr. Chioda conducted the most thorough home inspections we have ever had. I do not say this lightly, because, as buyers of rental properties, we have had over thirty home inspections done over the years, so we know how to rate inspection services, and we are happy to say Mr. Chioda's Clearview Home Inspections Eccl.9:10 is THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! Mr. Chioda arrived early to do the exterior inspection process, which included everything from the grounds to the roof, from the foundation to the chimney top, from curb to doorstep, and everything in between. He then went on to do the interior inspection and left nothing uninspected. During the entire process, he was very patient with our questions and often stopped to point out things we should particulary note regarding the house. Even though Mr. Chioda sent us a full and detailed review of the property, complete with detailed photos of every key feature, on the same day, via email, he still took the time to review everything with us during and at the completion of the inspection process. Mr. Chioda's rates for his services are very good. We were very impressed with the real value we received from Mr. Chioda's services, and his commitment to doing a truly excellent and professional home inspection. We would recommend Mr. Chioda's Clearview Home Inspections Eccl.9:10 to anyone, and especially to first time buyers. Even a brand new construction house can still have many issues the builder has left unfinished or incorrectly finished. A good home inspection can save you thousands of dollars by having the seller fix any problems with your new home before you buy it. We would also like to suggest for anyone thinking of selling your home, that you have a complete home inspection done before listing your property for sale. The relatively low cost of a complete home inspection will more than pay for itself, as it will reveal issues that you, as a homeowner thinking of selling, should know about your home. It is much better to know about potential problems so you can address these issues for two reasons. Number one - just for your own sake, you need to know about any possible safety concerns you will want to fix right away, so you can live in your home safely. Number two - potential buyers of your home will most likely want to have a home inspection, and will often attempt to offer you a lower price for your home and/or ask you to fix any issues revealed in the inspection. You can avoid unpleasant surprises and take care of these issues before putting your house up for sale. You will also enjoy having the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home is safe to live in, not only for your own family, but for the new family that will buy your home from you. It is always good to know you have done the right thing. You may also want to consider having an inspection of your current home. Even in the best kept homes where you perform regular maintenance, there still may be issues you would want to address. In one home Mr. Chioda inspected for us, the owner maintained everything in perfect, meticulous, spotless good order. The owner had regular servicing of the furnace on a scheduled basis. However, when Mr. Chioda inspected the furnace, he found that a small hose connection had become loosened and a tiny water leak had started. Since it was many months before the next schuduled furnace maintenance, the homeowner really was able to benefit from the knowledge that this hose was loose, and they had it corrected right away. Had it gone unrepaired, it might have cost them a lot of money to fix it. There are many other issues that can affect any home over a period of time, so it is a good idea to have an inspection at least every five to ten years just to be on the safe side. After all, you wouldn't wait twenty years between going to your doctor or dentist for a check up. Why take chances with your home? Overall, we would rate Mr. Chioda's Clearview Home Inspections Eccl.9:10 to be the best home inspection service we have ever used.
