Make sure your Carpenter has a PA license and has Insurance. You should be able to check on the contractor so you don't get taken. Anyone with a truck and some tools can say they are a contractor. Check with the Attorney General's Office to make sure who you are inviting into your home. You can put the contractor's PA Number into the below address and find out who they are and if they really have Insurance. Ask for references from your contractor and make sure you call them and ask what kind of work they performed for them.
