Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My services include remodeling bathrooms and kitchens; hardwood and laminate floor installation; ceramic, stone and porcelain tiles and walls; basic carpentry, handyman, and painting services. I am very experienced refitting old homes and rooms for modern needs and am able to creatively solve many of the issues that arise when changing the use of a space. I generally work alone or with one helper and am able to personally control the quality and schedule of each job. I have been given an "best of Thumbtack 2015" award for reliable work and good results with my clients over the past two years. I most enjoy solving problems that make my clients homes safer and more comfortable places to live. Whether I am doing a complete bathroom remodel or fixing a hole in a wall, it is nice to know that they are able to enjoy their time home in working order.

Matt removed a floating mantle and tile hearth. We explored the condition of the underlying fireplace to see if it was worth salvaging. Though he would have taken on the restoration, I opted for a solid wall to give more room in the tiny living room. Matt worked continuously until the project was finished, the walls smooth and seamless. The space was kept very clean after he left each day. I also had Matt move some kitchen cabinets and counter that were blocking a window. He did a great job of matching trim, refitting the resized counter, and even took care of some holes found in the walls and floors when the cabinets were moved. I felt comfortable leaving Matt to work during the day while I was gone. His attention to detail was comforting. And coming back to a cleaned work area made the process quite bearable. Would highly recommend.

Matt found a leak in our shower that was leaking through our kitchen ceiling, and repaired both. He was reliable and fixed the problems quickly, and did a great job. He also did great job replacing support posts in our wooden fence. Work quality was great.

Matt fixed a slow drain in my bathroom sink that 2 plumbers couldn't figure out. He also remodeled a bathroom for us and the tile work and dry wall are exceptional. He is persistent and thorough and does fantastic work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Depending on the size of the job, I will often exchange a few messages with a customer to discuss general details and make sure that my availability suits their timeline. Then we either meet in person or have a phone conversation to become more comfortable that my services would be a good fit for their needs.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I mostly work in residential settings but have also worked in office buildings and retail establishments.
