Prior to opening the original Cassandra's in Dormont, PA, I was the young owner of the wildly successful retail and floral store know as Josephine's. It was there that my love of beautiful things was entertained and my exceptional sense of style was first recognized. I decided that a professional background was needed to move higher and so I went on to study floral design under the renowned designer William Hixson, where I fell more in love with the floral industry. My rare talent for creating elegance and beauty applied itself well to floral design and my services were soon in high demand among many Pittsburgh Brides! Though my client list has since gotten much bigger, my sense of style and grace has remained as genuine as the day I went into business.
