FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely, always researching and studying the latest techniques and trends. I learn a lot from colleagues and clients as well. Never too late to learn new tricks. I enjoy knowing what new products and techniques are out there to pass on to my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved art, painting, sculpting, so I attended the art institute for special fx make up. There I learned how much I enjoyed doing beauty make up and working so closely with people. I then went to beauty school for skin care and it came full circle. Helping anyone feel and look their personal best and reach their beauty goals gives me the best feeling.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think it's important to find the right artist for you! Check out their portfolio and see if they can create the look you desire and have a positive presence in their profile or social media. There has to be some chemistry and flow to their approach that you feel comfortable and confident with.
