I started training with Jeannette about a month ago and it was the best decision ever! I was looking for a trainer that knew a lot about bodybuilding, getting toned, and eating the right foods. After a few weeks of working out with her, I starting seeing results right away. I could tell I was getting stronger and gaining muscle. Jeannette gives me all the attention I need while working out because she wants to make sure each rep is perfect , so you can get the best results. Jeannette is very flexible when it comes to scheduling time to train. She is very reliable and easy to get a hold of if you ever have a quick question about what or what not to eat. I am always excited for my next workout with her:) I would reccomend Jeannette to anyone because she is such a pleasant person to be around and knows how to get you in shape!! :)

For the past year, I’ve been working with Jessie and it’s improved my body composition and relationship with food. Not only is she knowledgeable in nutrition and fitness, she’s a lot of fun to be around. One of the things that makes Jessie stand out as a health and fitness coach is that she is an excellent listener. That translates to her offering exercises that directly help address any areas you want to improve. Working out with her is never painful – it is hard work – but you never feel that you’re unable to move the next day. Everything is done to ensure you can safely and effectively do the exercises. As a health coach, Jessie motto is not to deny or punish but to facilitate healthy eating habits. Other fitness trainers I’ve heard of institute a strict, bland diet. However, Jessie wants to make sure your diet is sustainable for the long term so she’s really good at offering healthy alternatives to guilty pleasures. I can’t recommend Jessie enough!

Meeting Lisa changed my life, I completed sixteen hours of angry management with her. She was always on time and very professional. Megan is one of the most dynamic, holistic, and most importantly, fun fitness gurus I've worked with, and I say all of this because of (and in spite of) the fact that she KICKED MY BUTT!!! She taught me some basic exercises that I can do in my living room while catching up on Food Network reality shows, but let's be real, I did a few more lunges and tricep dips when she was watching over me with her "boot camp meets Beyoncé" training style. I love that she's available to answer all of my health questions, like "Can you SERIOUSLY put kale in a smoothie and it tastes good?" to "What am I doing wrong that my glutes aren't sore after spin?" to "What is an Omega 3 anyway?" and everything in between. She walks the walk and talks the talk in her daily life and that inspires me to at least do small things to up my own game. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to be healthier but feels overwhelmed by the Billy Blanks' of the world. She breaks down healthy into digestible bites that fit into my lifestyle, and therefore, would fit into ANYONE else's. So I'll see you at TRX Saturday morning and the bar later that night?

LoLo helped with a final assignment for my yoga training. I needed to hand in a binder with completed assessments for each of the dozen or so modules I had attended. Each assessment was to be a page long about my experience and how I've integrated what I learned into my life and teaching. LoLo assisted me when I felt like I had nothing more to say or felt like I was repeating myself. She also helped me have a more polished tone to my writing. It helped that she understood the application of what I was writing about as well. I got my certificate and I know she was a big part of that!

As for the nutrition coaching, I am not in the believe that you must never touch "unhealthy" food again. I give my clients macros (grams of fat, protein, and carbs) to follow each day to hit. Their macros may be different on training/off days and I can change them whenever I want depending on how things are progressing (I don't change them only once per month). Obviously I advice that healthy food choices make up most of your calories, but if you plan on having a dinner out with friends or a significant other, just make your dinner fit your macros! I am available to clients via text or email with any questions or concerns they may have and I expect weekly check-ins regarding food logs. Depending on your goals, I may have weekly or biweekly check-ins with weight and pictures.
