Besides being required to take CEU classes to maintain my license, I enjoy keeping up on new techniques and research in the massage therapy field.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
What I love most about massage is the variety of people it brings me into contact with. My work has taken me to hospice patients looking for pain relief and relaxation, health club patrons needing a little extra attention on stubborn knots, hotel patrons looking for a special treat, travelers and office workers looking for 15-minute escapes during their hectic day, and many more.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
People often don't realize how diverse the massage field is. The number of modalities and variation is huge, plus each massage therapist brings their own personal touch to each client.
