Introduction: I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching. I am a piano teacher at Carnegie Mellon University Preparatory School, Seton Center School of Music and Hope Academy. I am a professional musician with Masters, and PhD in piano performance. Any ages and levels are welcome. Seton Center and Hope Academy is now excepting new students. The schools are located on Pioneer Avenue, and East Liberty. If these places are not convenient, I can also teach in my home studio located on Mt. Washington. Remote teaching via Skype, FaceTime is another option. My prices are $30/30 minutes $40/45 minutes, and $50/60 minutes.

My 10 years old daughter is a student of Ms.Helga. She really enjoys her lessons. Ms. Helga is very talented and informed pianist, and as a teacher, she is so patient. She always slows down to ensure that my daughter is following the lessons and is playing every note correctly, in right posture(even over remote classes) . My daughter has made you much progress in last few months and am amazed how beautifully she is starting to play. I would highly recommend to learn Piano from her. Happy Learning!!

I am a 75 year old piano student. I had been taking lessons with the best of the best, but he passed away. I didn't want to give up my lessons so I found a new teacher on Thumbtack, Helga Scheibert. Helga is also the best of the best!!! She is very friendly and quite knowledgeable. she allows you to grow at your own pace while encouraging you to do more. I have seen her work with children and she is just excellent. I would recommend Helga to anyone who wants a very skilled, professional teacher. Right now I am doing Skype lessons with her because of Covid. It is like I am with her in person. I couldn't ask for a better more qualified teacher
