Robert Sheesley

Introduction: Robert is a writer and public speaker, having authored and delivered material for professional associations, educational institutions, and academic research on leadership, U.S. Marine Corps, enterprise portfolio and program management, coaching (middle and high school), and technology. He has addressed audiences at Metea Valley High School, Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Chicago as well as associations, such as Project Management Institute (PMI), Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). He has served on executive round-table panels for information week, authored white papers on merger and acquisition planning and integration and business architecture, and has provided commentary on business process management for CIO magazine. He is working on his first fiction novel. A United States Marine and Operation Desert Storm veteran, Robert is an active member of the board of directors of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of HIMSS and Access Community Health Network, Chicago's largest private health care provider to the underserved and the nation's largest community health center. He also currently serves in the industry advisory board for the HealthTech Research and Advisory Council. Robert has held numerous leadership roles, including director, Health and Life Science Solutions with Syndicus, Inc.; CIO, Advisory Services Practice Leader for West Monroe Partners, National Insurance Practice Leader for Alvarez and Marsal Business Consulting; and director, Claim Technology for CNA Financial. Robert has a master's degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Science in Communications degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a certified business architect (CBA) designation with The Business Architects Association (BAA).
