FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We shy away from projects where we are asked to give a price over the phone. It is just not how we do business and it is not fair to the Client. We need to come to the project, look at the work and try and understand what you as the owner are trying to achieve. After our meeting. if the project is a retro-fit and/or renovation project, we will put together a contract/proposal for the scope of work that was discussed that is based on the details that you provided as well as information that our Engineer observed. Our proposals are very detail oriented so that it is important that you read and review all of the information contained in the paragraphs so that we all have the right understanding what the scope of work entails and who will be responsible for what. This is how we can avoid headaches and potential disputes later. We call it our "Ace Project Playbook. We use many calculations in our estimating sheets and there are a lot of what if's that are also included.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We attend Manufacturer Training offsite as well as hold Yearly Training on new products in each of the product lines that we install. We are always on the look-out for cutting edge and green technologies that can help our Client's save money.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Originally, I was involved in the environmental industry and was tired of cleaning up people's environmental disasters. A friend introduced me to the insulation business since I was so strong into sustainability, saving energy and most importantly, the carbon foot print the rest they say is history.
