I just started training with marie and wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. It's way more then I expected,we work hard and I have lots of fun. She keeps it interesting and my attention.
I started training with Phil a little over a month ago and wasn't sure what to expect. I've been to gyms before and just kind of gotten thrown into things and quickly lost interest and stopped going. I met with Phil the first day, took my measurements and I weighed 226. He explained that we would just ease into things instead of rushing into it. I could barely do a 30 second plank and was lucky if I was able to do 6 pushup's. Over the last month by taking it easy I didn't feel like this was something I couldn't do. I was definitely pushed though and it made it enjoyable. I actually look forward to getting to our sessions. I have lost 7 pounds to date and can do planks over a minute with no problem and can complete 3 sets of 12 pushups. I've noticed a lot of improvements in my balance too. Marcellus is absolutely amazing. He focuses on the areas you want to target the most while still giving you a great total body workout. I'm a busy stay at home mom and he is very flexible with my schedule. I could not be any happier with my decision to go with BFit!

8 months ago I was a self-professed "lazy person". I am a 34 year old mother of 3 young children. I never enjoyed exercising, hated sweating and was terrified of the thought of even being in a gym. I was unhappy with my appearance and weight so with the encouragement of some friends I joined the gym in May 2014. I spent a few weeks taking spin classes and using the elliptical 3-4 days a week. I never would go alone and heaven forbid I touch anything that wasn't cardio. After a month I became frustrated that I wasn't seeing any changes, after all now I was a self-professed "cardio queen". At this point I thought maybe I needed some help so I called in the big guns...I hired a personal trainer...but not for his "big guns", I had heard he was the best, that all his clients loved him and that he would be a good fit for my personality. I hired Doug without even saying 2 words to him. I signed up to train 1x per week. After my first month I already lost 3% body fat! I became hooked. Doug has always been so supportive and motivating. He is possibly the most kind and patient person I know. He is always available to answer any questions and goes above and beyond to be flexible and accommodating. More importantly then all that, he is an amazing trainer. In the past 8 months I am currently down over 15% body fat and have lost more then 40 lbs and over 32 inches. He has helped me become confident lifting weights, doing TRX and boxing. I look forward to every session with him and have since upped my sessions to 4-6 times a week simply because the value is there. I know that when I have a session with him I am guaranteed a great workout and the results shortly follow. He might be magical....but if not he at least knows the tricks to transform even the least athletic, most out of shape person into a now self-proclaimed "exercise phanatic". Doug is extremely professional and dedicated. I highly recommend him if you are serious about training and getting results.
Work with Steve on a weekly basis, both group class and personal one on one training. I feel that my strength has increased due to our sessions and my stamina also. I am an avid runner and Steve is able to utilize that in our workouts.
I've been working out using various fitness programs available for purchase (e.g. Insanity, P90X, Les Mills) for a few years and thought I knew a lot about how to work out. When I tried to put something together on my own, I quickly found out how wrong I was! I did know a lot of exercises, but putting them together into a program that fit what I was trying to achieve just wasn't happening. I was so lucky to have found Dancer for Life. After a brief fit test and interview, she put together a program for me that was perfect for my goals. I wanted to improve my strength and lean out my physique. I saw results on the first part pretty quickly with her guidance and encouragment. She also helped me realize that the leaning out part takes time, but I am seeing great results there too. I would have totally messed up ( and probably given up) without her as a trainer. If you are looking for someone who can help you with YOUR fitness goals and not some cookie-cutter approach, Dancer is the one for you. She is certainly my permanent trainer!
Jen has been a lifesaver! She really took the time to understand what I was looking for, my trouble areas, and taking any limitations into account. For every training session, she always has one of my favorite playlists on and is ready to go with a unique workout. She motivates me and helps me keep pushing myself when I don't think I can keep going. I also travel a lot for work, and Jen is great at giving me "vacation" workouts and checking up on my progress between sessions. I highly recommend Jen, you won't regret it!
Josh has been training me for about 4 months. He has me perform way beyond where I think I can. I have gained core strength and chest strength that I could not have developed on my own. Workouts are diverse and challenging.
After a 1.5 year hiatus from any sort of workout regimen, I heard about Adult Gym Class through a Facebook post. After scheduling an initial assessment with Tony, the head honcho, I decided to start training again. It’s been about 5 weeks and I have nothing but awesome things to say about this place. The classes are tough, but manageable, and are never boring. No two classes have been the same. The small-group setting is ideal for me, because I do not enjoy being in an over-crowded class. It’s wonderful to have a coach there every step of the way. Tony is a great instructor and teaches you proper form & technique first & foremost. Getting back into shape will be no easy task, but I trust Tony’s knowledge and guidance and I look forward to continuing with the classes for a long time. Gian is by far the best trainer I've ever had. He genuinely cares about all of his clients and has a huge passion for his job. Gian understands the needs of every client he trains and will work you to ensure you are receiving the training you want. He has helped me to get stronger and injury free for my rugby career. Thanks to Gian, I am now confident with my body and strength.
Mike is a terrific trainer- Extremely knowledgable about all aspects of his work, he is a pleasure to work with and always professional in his manner. Several times I had shoulder problems that Mike resolved through careful and methodical work in his training with me- better than the physical therapists I had used. I just had several procedures on torn tendons on my knee and when they are healed look forward soon to working with Mike to rebuild the strength in both knees and legs. That is how much I trust his work. You cannot go wrong with Mike --he has my highest recommendation!!

So I know my way around a gym and have achieved fitness objectives in the past. The picture I’ve attached is me 20 years ago. I’m on a mission to get back to this shape. My best results have been achieved with the assistance of a personal trainer. I’ve had excellent trainers in the past but that required a selection process. I would watch the trainers at my gym work. I would observe their attitude, intensity and work ethic. In time one would stand apart as the best in the gym and then I would secure that trainer because I had high goals and that required a skilled professional. At the time I was at the CLUB METRO Gym in Phillipsburg. I made my selection but the gym moved to a new location and I didn’t like the new location and changed gyms. I’m getting to the point so just hang in there a bit longer. That was 2 years ago- so now I’m looking for a trainer again but nobody stands out in either of the 2 gyms I use. I went to another gym where the training manager layed out my options based on 25 minute training sessions with a variety of packages that did not appeal to me. Not to mention I hadn’t seen any of their trainers in action and 25 min sessions isn’t gonna work for me. I need high intensity training for at least 45-60 minutes. What to do? Finally I just googled “freelance trainers” and boom THUMBTACK pops up listing 5 options. BD FITNESS stood out to me and I went to their Facebook page. I watched a vid of the owner of this fitness studio give a tour of his training facility and the second I saw him I recognized him as the trainer I had selected at The Club Metro two years ago. I was instantly fired up and immediately contacted BRANDON DELGADO and met with him at his facility. I wanted 3 sessions a week- an hour each- Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00-11:00am. He was booked at those times but set me up with his associate DONNY RUNRILL. I’ve had 3 sessions with Donny and the training has been superb. I’ve already learned much and have no doubt that as long as I put in the work and follow the nutrition plan DONNY will get me to my fitness objective. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BD FITNESS Here’s the other bonus. Because this is a private fitness studio you and your trainer won’t have to navigate the obstacles of a busy gym. The most crowded it can get is if both Brandon and Donny are training clients at the same time which is incredibly freeing. I haven’t even mentioned the pricing. Not only am I getting superior training at an outstanding faculty. I’m also getting a great price. It’s win win win.......... I know it sounds like I’m a friend or family member but I’ve never conversed with either Brandon or Donny until a few days ago. I’m just that impressed!
Robin is the consummate fitness professional. As someone who has been into sports for over 30 years, I was very familiar with weight training but not so much into holistic fitness. It was immediately apparent that Robin was highly knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness and general health, in addition to understanding the limitations of injuries. After a sit down conversation, Robin tailored a fitness program designed to address my weaknesses (cardio, flexibility, and balance), while fully understanding my limitations due to injury. Since training with Robin, my cardio, flexibility, and balance have improved dramatically. Further, Robin recommended that I see an orthopedist and podiatrist to address some of my challenges due to injury. These recommendations proved to be highly beneficial as some of my long-term limitations have been addressed with great success. I highly recommend Robin for all types of people who are looking for a higher level of fitness.
today was my first day which was a complementary, workout. however once the workout was over i knew immediately this was the type of trainer/training that will help me accomplish my goal. If the next 3 months are anything like the first day, i will surpass goal with no problem. Jake is not only the owner and great trainer he also keeps the workout from getting stale which is perfect. I'll respond in 3 months with the end results
