Introduction: Hello,
My name is Brigitte, I'm originally from Germany, now based in NYC.
I bring a background in art, design, science and my love for the environment to Design Frix and imagine an individual style through both classic and modern elements to create a visual framework that is sophisticated yet subtly unexpected.
Through collaboration with my clients I compose a personal aesthetic of elements from their lifestyle, surroundings and possessions. My unique background gives me the ability to intertwine the artistic, intuitive and playful with the practical and environmental aspects of a design project.

Brigitte is wonderful. She continues to keep in touch and makes sure I’m enjoying my space. She was able to look at my space, listen to my needs, and suggest large and small changes that could work. She has an incredible eye for functionality and energy in a space and that was something I was unable to do on my own no matter how many articles and blogs I read. She picked a paint color that has changed my entire mood about being home and I couldn’t be more grateful for her expertise. I will continue to look to her in the future whether it’s in person or virtually, and whether it’s a complete home move or purchasing the right lamp.

Ms King gave my upper Westside 2 bedroom the design and flair it deserves . I bought in August and within 6 weeks she transformed our space into a modern but warm and welcoming home.
She has the perfect eye for beauty , mixed with a sense for the practical . This was the second time we used her services ( first time for a rental ) and we could not be happier with the experience .
Highly recommended !

Ms. King turned my run down two bedroom apartment into a beautiful home in less than 2 months. Her work included planning and overseeing general renovation, mostly while I was still at the Westcoast . She also furnished and decorated my home and rooftop garden . The result surpassed all my expectations.
Ms. King is a top professional and wonderful human being .

Had an in-home evening appointment. Next day rec'd recommendations on paint color/ brand, contact for window treatment, and online sites for purchasing artwork. Exactly what I requested. Brigitte is lovely. Extremely pleased with her suggestions and immediate response.
