Linda came to my home and we worked together to get the project done quickly. She was great and I would recommend her for sewing help or classes.

Elisha is my sewing teacher and she excellent. I found her here, on Thumbtack and have been going to her for a month so far. Elisha is way more than just a seamstress or a sewing teacher, she has a degree in design along with several years of experience. She actually creates the patterns that we make together and walks me through each step of the process. So, if I want a jersey dress with elbow length sleeves and a V neck? She can make the pattern to my measurements, walk me through the steps of HOW she made it...and, since she has 8 years of experience as a stylist, she can help me accessorize the finished product. When I first started going to Elisha, I didn’t know how to sew at all. I didn’t even own a sewing machine. Now, I have a sewing machine, I know how to use it, and with Elisha’s help and incredible pattern making skills, I know soon, I’ll be able to create anything! Elisha is very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an infectiously sparkling personality , so just being around gives me an instant mood lift!

I'm 100% new to sewing but Ruby made it really easy to jump in! The lesson was very hands-on, which is great because I learn best by doing rather than just watching, and Ruby had lots of books and little charts and mnemonic devices to help me remember different knots and stitches. Plus, totally affordable. Would recommend to anybody.

I found Mr Williams to be very patient, yet determined instructor. As my desire to sew was not equivalent to my ability. Mr Williams sagacity recognized this and made adjustments. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

I worked with Jillian professionally for years on various designs projects including dress up outfits and costumes as well as soft plush toys. Her knowledge of fabrics and patterns is invaluable! She is a sewing genius and could seriously sew a dress blindfolded. The final designs are always well executed, beautiful and fit the intended purpose, from cute and quirky to elegant and dazzling. I would not hesitated to work with her again. Plus she is super nice and fun!

I have had an amazing experience. Mrs. Yvette is a great teacher. I am visually impaired and sewing has always been very frustrating to me. Mrs Yvette has made it very easy for me to learn how to sew and very helpful to me in completing projects. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher

I used to own an entertainment company and Charlene has made countless costumes for us from dancer leotards to 6' tall stiltwalker pants and everything in between. She was fast, reliable and her work was second to none. She would even do small and large alterations for us which sometimes literally saved the day (or at least the show)! She is super easy to work with and provides a great value to her clients.

My services include teaching every one the basics, from pattern reading to understanding the material you're using, and how to use your own sewing machine. I have over 15 years of experience. I sold Viking sewing machines at the age of 16 and have had a passion to learn and inspire others. I'm your sewing basic teacher. For questions you feel are stupid to ask, I'm the one who you can ask, because I've been there. Once you figure out the basics and truly understand why, a whole new world opens up for you.
