Gil has cleaned many, many carpets for us after tenants move out of our rental properties. We have given him some of the dirtiest! He does such an awesome job! He is prompt and professional and makes the carpet look like new. I have referred him to other investors, family & friends! I highly recommend! He is more reasonably priced, more professional & does a way better job than the national carpet cleaning chain companies we had used before. Very happy we found Clean Floors & More!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Our owner Gilbert Nazario got his start in the cleaning business as a floor technician at Reading Health System. After working there for seven years he made the bold decision to branch out on his own to start Clean Floors & More, a janitorial and carpet cleaning business. With help from his wife, Claudia, The two began their journey to “own clean” in Berks County and haven’t looked back since. Gilbert is a native of Reading, PA, a loving father, and husband, who is passionate about the work that he does as a business owner and community member. He is often seen at events sponsored by the Latino Chamber of Commerce, the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center, and the Berks County SCORE chapter.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Clean Floors & More currently employs a dozen city residents and has serviced great establishments like Berks Technical Institute, Grove Dental, Mi Casa Su Casa, Allison Clothing Company, and Linsey EyeCare, among others.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    We believe that we all have the same pool of employees to choose from. So systems are important to have in place in for Client and Company accountability and communication. We believe it's important for clients to ask how inspections are performed. Will client receive a copy of inspections? A client should understand how we as a company know who is on site when they're on site. A great question a client should ask it's about time tracking. most cleaning companies have their employees write down there times. With the company having no way of knowing if these times are correct and if their client is actually receiving the man hours their facility needs to shine. Ask about the technology used to hold employees accountable and to best communicate and serve the client. And most importantly the client should ask the company about its training tactics. The client should ask if there is a training manual or video that teaches how to clean touch points and disinfect correctly so everyone is sure that their facility is healthy as well as clean.
