Sylvia is the chef and owner of Sylvia Sweet Cakes . Her passion for baking started at an early age, where she thought baking cakes, cookies and others pastries was a fun past time. She started her career as a pastry chef in Philadelphia, PA and there she had the opportunity to work and trained with her parents and different chefs both local and international. She also attended HACC (Harrisburg Community College) for pastry chef and also attend others cake decorating classes and seminars become a Wilton Method Instructor to learn the techniques of hand-made sugar flowers, sugar decorations, and rolled fondant and able to teach other the same technique. She’s very passionate about her baking and cake decorating. She loves what she does.
