Dave's Lawn and Home Care Business's reply
I responded to this customer several times. She did not give an exact date and pushed the job out weeks. Then she expected an immediate response at the last minute. Every review I have for work performed is excellent. This was on her not me. I'm busy and usually need a few days advance notice, like most working individuals. I totally dispute this review and find it completely unfair.

Thought Dave was good until today. His son ran over my sewer cap n lost it. I told him I wanted it replaced. Dave replaced it but neither him or his son offered me an apology, Dave just screamed at his son then proceeded to scream at me in the yard that he would no longer cut my grass because I yelled at his son, which I did not do. His beheavor was both erratic and unprofessional. I was a customer for 2 yrs and I never complained when he just showed up early repeatedly not sticking to the every 2wk agreement. I never complained when plants were run over, but a sewer cap is a big deal! I never raised my voice to his son but Dave screamed at me and carried on in front of my neighbors and my 7yr old grandson! I don't deserve that treatment from anyone, especially someone who just damaged my property.
Dave's Lawn and Home Care Business's reply
Total b.s. I cut this lawn on her horrible schedule for 2 years. I never met her and always got my pay from the porch. This particular day, my son had messed up in a minor way. The cap was a 6 dollar piece which I replaced immediately. On the way to get the part my son explained she screamed at him, brought her friend out to complain, and said he should be fired. I was just down the street, but my son was afraid to leave, bc she was behaving in a crazy manner. He was terrified and didn't know what to do. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone. She also took our pay which was for three cuts, thu's implying after 2 great years of service, she still didn't trust us. When I returned she did pay. I informed her I would no longer cut her grass bc how she treated my son, and the mistrust. She said it wasn't true, thus calling my son a liar. He was so upset bc he thought he really messed up. She said it was thousands in damage. Lol, it was a simple threaded pvc cap. Btw, the caps should not protrude as high as they do, but my son errored. When I informed her we were done there, she said " if that's how you do business....then whatever." I choose my customers. She was a pain. She wanted to limit cuts but pay the same rate. This was a wet season and we struggled trying to keep her schedule. We never billed additional. She never complained bc she had no reason, and now she wants to act as if our work was shoddy. For 2 years? Gmab. Btw thumbtack blows. I don't use it. Nor do I need to. I have 60 lawns and I've gotten 90 percent thru word of mouth, or people passing by. I work ft., I have a cleanout, and estate sales business. I'm always busy, and I'm always getting referrals. I don't need her business and she gave me reason to drop her. I choose my customers, I'm that good. She was upset I fired her, not bc our work. I couldn't care less. I never yelled at her and I spoke as I walked away bc I didn't want to listen to her shit, any longer. I'm glad she is off my list. It was a nuisance yard and underbilled bc her demands. I don't use thumbtack bc so few jobs are realized and the bidding process is uber expensive. I tried it out of curiosity, and it was horrible return on investment. LIVE AND LEARN.
