I have been fortunate to work with Michael Katz of GetMadFit as my personal trainer over the past five years. For someone like me, in my early 60s, dealing with past injuries and persistent balance issues, he was always encouraging and had me doing exercises that were varied, reasonably challenging, and had the effect of building strength as well as confidence. And throughout, he demonstrated the utmost patience, professionalism and good humor. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael as a personal trainer.

Michael created an excellent 10 session seasonal exercise routine for me. I am in mid-60s. What impressed me was his sensitivity to provide challenging exercises while not exceeding my capabilities and monitoring closely my pace. Over 10 sessions, we did not repeat any one exercise twice. Michael has a terrific personality, very supportive but not over the top enthusiastic. Great trainer. I highly recommend him and will work with him again when I return to Delray in the fall.

Mike developed a 60 day flexible nutrition plan that supported my current lifestyle. During the first two months, I lost body fat and gained muscle mass; that is almost unheard of! Since the 60 days passed, I have been able to easily maintain my new physique and eating habits. Mike took my physical activity, my mental well-being, my social activities, and my daily routines into consideration in order to develop a nutritional guideline that supported my fitness goals without hindering my social life. Not only did Mike calculate nutritional baselines that I could easily follow and maintain, but he provided frequent check-ins and constant encouragement. Mike was very professional but treated me like a friend, always making sure my comfort and health were first priority. I recommend Mike for any fitness and/or nutrition-related needs!

TOUGH, CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE I hired Michael as a Personal Trainer almost a year ago and made great progress in strength and flexibility. Michael is very motivating and very knowledgeable in subjects of health, wellness and fitness. He challenges me every time with his customized workouts.
