Questions to Ask When Hiring a Disc Jockey and our response. 1) Do you carry liability insurance ? As business owners we carry liability insurance to protect our business and our clients. Some venues now request proof of liability. We have a Certificate of Liability Insurance which can be used as proof. 2) Do you help plan the music prior to our event? We are happy to listen to your suggestions, share ideas, and play your desired songs. We realize there may be songs you do not want played. 3) Do you use Professional Equipment ? Our equipment is up-to-date, all music recorded on compact discs. Please feel free to ask us for our equipment list. 4) Do you bring backup equipment to my event? Do you really want your party ruined because your Disc Jockey did not have backup equipment? Booking a reliable Disc Jockey is a very important decision for the success of your party. Note: Selecting a Disc Jockey who is an active member of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) will provide you with the confidence that you have selected a trained professional. As ADJA members we are involved with other Disc Jockey's who can help us out with an unexpected situation. 5) Do you coordinate and emcee the event. Yes. How much time do you allow for set-up ? We always arrive at least one hour prior to your start time. We are set up and ready before the guests arrive. 6) Do you provide a written contract ? It is extremely important to have your booking confirmed in writing. We always provide a written agreement. A reservation fee is required with the contract. 7) Will you be suitably dressed for our occasion? We will discuss this with you prior to your event and dress accordingly. 8) Do you belong to a professional group ? We are members of the Global Mobile Entertainers Associasion. 9) Do You Accept Credit Cards? We do accept Visa/MC/American Express/and Discover Payments.
