FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I provide estimates based on the type of work needed. Pest control jobs are priced by the job, and include all materials. All other work can be priced by the job or by the hour. My handyman estimates include labor only. All materials are charged as they occur, and you can buy them yourself or I will buy them and receive reimbursement on the date I deliver the materials to your job location.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always make sure the company you are planning to hire is licensed for home improvement in your state. Pennsylvania and New Jersey both require home improvement professionals, from builders down to painters, to be licensed and to carry a minimum amount of insurance. The licensing process also requires companies to disclose any criminal violations, so you can best protect yourself by asking to see proof of a license.
