ContempraDance Center

Introduction: ContempraDance Center is the area's most comprehensive, state-of-the-art dance facility with roomy studios and consists of high-open ceilings with track lighting, sprung and marley floors, convenient parking both for the students and parents with easy access to shopping, and spacious waiting and dressing areas. ContempraDance, owned by director Gail Vartanian, offers more than 55 classes per week to children, adults, and teens in jazz, hip-hop, funk, pre-dance, little princess creative dance, ballet, modern, break dancing, Latin fusion, Zumba, belly dance, as well as yoga. We are voted the "Best Dance Studio in the Main Line" by Main Line Times and Main Line Life, "Best of Philly" by Philadelphia Magazine, and "Parents Pick Choice Award" by Nickelodeon. Our studio offers different levels of classes for beginner to professional dancers. Also, we are committed to coaching you in a caring and warm environment. ContempraDance Center is the home of ContempraDance Theatre, a professional and highly praised dance company established in the year 1993 by Gail Vartanian, an artistic director. The center is also the home of the ContempraYouth Dancers established in September 2003, with ages ranging from 7-17. They are selected through an audition and perform all over the year in our company theatre's hilarious holiday spoof, "Philly-Nutt-Crak-Up", the Youth Regional Dance Festival, in Disney World, and at various community events.
