David was prompt and had suggestions for the work I wanted done. He did a very nice job and was very detail oriented. I would work with him again and recommend him to others. I wanted new shutters hung and he suggested he paint the ones I have because they were only faded and good quality . Saved me money and they look great!

Never showed up to schedule appointment and never even bother to let me know. Just straight up never showed up and haven’t heard anything since. No apologies or attempt to reschedule. UNPROFESSIONAL

Dave might do decent work, but he was a no-show to our scheduled appointment and communication with him has been a struggle at best. I didn’t originally send my project request to Dave, but he messaged me at 10:45pm on 7/3 offering to come out the following day to do the project (I guess Thumbtack shows the projects to other pros if the selected ones haven’t responded yet). I replied at 10am when I saw the message, but didn’t hear back until late that night, so he never came out. This is fine, though…it was short notice and I didn’t see his initial message right away. We then went back and forth trying to schedule a different day, which ended up being Wednesday, 7/7 @ 3pm. I messaged early that morning (6:30am) to confirm the appointment; I didn’t hear back from him until 4:10pm asking me if I still wanted him to come out despite the rain. So we rescheduled again, this time for Saturday, 7/10, @10am and I asked for his phone number in case the app messaging was the reason for our lack of communication. Again, I sent a text the morning of the appointment to confirm - no response. At ~10:30am I tried calling him to see if he was still coming / running late - no response. I texted again at 11:13am to see what was going on - no response. Again, Dave might be a decent guy, and he might do great work, but my experience in trying to work with him on this project has been a very poor one.

    most of my prices does not include materials. reason being everyone's project uses different materials.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    i always ask for pictures and ask many questions so i can try to identity the problem for a better and more accurate quote.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    many customers from all walks of life. but just customers that need a fixin!
