I have to say to myself, Why haven't I done this sooner. On Friday night we had a ladies night, 5, and Tony prepared 5-6 dishes and each one was amazing, delicious. He prepares well by asking all the right questions regarding the group he is preparing for and then executes it exquisitely!! I can't wait to plan my next event with Tony and I will also be doing some cooking classes with him. Tony from all of us ladies on Fri May 29th we thank you so such a wonderful special evening.

I had the pleasure of working with Allison, she came to my house and gave me cooking lessons. She was very patient and fully explained everything she did. I learned so much from these lessons. I am now able to prepare gourmet food in my own kitchen. My husband and family are thrilled! If you want to learn some new things, even starting from scratch call Allison today, she in amazing!

I have taken several cooking classes with Jolynn and have enjoyed them tremendously. She loves cooking and her passion shows through in her classes. She is patient and insightful. She tells the best stories about the food and the land the food comes from. At the end of each class, is the best meal prepared by Jolynn to complement the class and the conversation is intimate and fun. Jolynn provides a wonderfully beautiful experience with her cooking classes!

I have medical conditions that leave me exhausted after working 8 hour days. As a result, I would not have the energy to cook healthy meals. Our dinners included fast food, delivery or pre-packaged meals. When I found out that Traci, a friend of my sister, was in culinary school I approached her about becoming our personal chef and preparing 4-5 meals a week that are either ready to cook with minimal efforts or only needs to be reheated. In January 2015, we hired Traci as our personal chef. I provided Traci with some of our favorite recipes. A shared Pinterest board was also created to share online recipes. As my husband is a picky eater, finding recipes that he approves has been a challenge. Traci quickly learned acceptable foods and has been great about suggesting substitutions for recipes. After 2 months of working with Traci, I had to go on a low sodium diet. She had no problems modifying meals so they would be lower in sodium. Each week Traci prepares the next week’s meal plan by reviewing our approved recipes and requests for repeated meals. We review the meal plan and make changes as needed. Traci purchases the food while considering ingredients that she still has in stock. On the following day, she prepares the meals in her house. The meals are placed into glass dishes or covered disposable foil serving trays with copy of the recipes attached. After the meals are ready, I pick up them up at her house. The meals are then kept in the refrigerator (or the freezer) until I am ready to cook/heat it. We provide Traci feedback on each meal. Traci accepts our feedback well and takes into consideration our requests when making the meal again. The meals have been delicious and most have earned a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The meals not receiving 5 stars were not a result of Traci’s meal preparation skills but due to the recipe, such as the seasonings. Prior to hiring Traci I was never fond of left-overs. Now I find myself excited to have left-overs. Traci has even gotten my husband to eat foods I never expected. My husband has eaten and really liked meals prepared by Traci that he did not like when made by myself or family. He has even eaten vegetables that he has refused to eat as he thought he didn’t like them. I highly recommend Traci Zammetti as a personal chef. Not only are our meals better tasting than I would make, but we are healthier as a result of the healthier meals and less stress in our lives.

I ordered and received a variation of three different dishes from Sonya Combs this week. Each dish was prepared in single servings as requested. I learned how to prepare the frozen stir fry dishes. Allow it to thaw in the refrigerator cover with a paper towel and defrost it for one and one-half minutes in the microwave. Heat for one minute and it tastes like it was just delivered! I've had the spinach salad with a side order of grilled chicken and shrimp and the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato wedges. They were prepared in individual servings. All of her dishes are delicious! I live close by and she delivered all of my orders to my home.

Fast, professional responses. The chef is familiar with many cuisines and helped me create a menu that my guests still talk about. The food was so good! I highly recommend hiring Comfort Cravings to cater your event. We loved the food so much that I'm planning to book the chef for a cooking class in my home.

I used Bee&Jay Catering to cater my brother 50th Birthday party. They exceeded my expectations. When I contacted them his wife was very professional and prompt with responding to texts and emails. I love the presentation of the food for the taste testing and it was delicious. They also stayed with in my budget. This sealed the deal they were hired right then and there. On the day of the party they set up the tables with linen and centerpieces. The food was so good guests went back for seconds. If you are looking for a professional caterer that can cook then I strongly suggest you use Bee&Jay Catering!!!

I got my mother a cooking class for her birthday so we could do something together. We had a blast! Michele made us feel like old friends just coming over to cook and hangout. She has a natural way of teaching and getting to know you. I did not expect the food was going to be that good but I couldn't get over how amazing it tasted!! Especially because I had a part in cooking it. The most important thing was we both would do it again hands down. Thanks again Michele we will be back!!!

I have hired Dineomatic a couple of times, both to teach cooking classes for my business (which were fabulous and fun!) as well as to cater my company's holiday party. Matt has a contagious love for food and flavors, and his cooking shows that. He willingly took on a South American themed menu for our party, and produced delicious, colorful dishes that my guests loved. He paired the food with festive signature cocktails that created a buzz as my guests arrived for the evening. So cool. If you are looking for a caterer to help you create a memorable event with great food and drink, hire Matt!

Chris was really helpful in a somewhat unusual situation. I wanted to give my son a cooking lesson but had no idea what he'd want to cook or how much it would cost. Chris got right on it and sent him an email wishing him a happy birthday and announcing the as-yet-to-be-determined gift. My son is really looking forward to it but has been slow to respond due to his kids' vacation. It will be fun to see what he and Chris decide to do! Thanks, Chris!

I came across Ma Dookz through their local food truck service. The food is AMAZING! They are very professional, consistent, affordable, and offer the absolute BEST and ONLY home cooked quality food you can get in under 5 minutes! The owner is very hands on, professional, pleasant, and takes pride in her company and their service. The food is so good, I also used their catering services for my sister's graduation party and it couldn't have been better! Everyone enjoyed the food and service! I would definetly recommend Ma Dookz to any and everyone in need of top of the line food and catering services!

Donna came prepared and spent three hours patiently showing my friend and I proper knife/cutting techniques. She was very knowledgeable on the proper care of knives, the different kinds (the must-haves) and how they should be sharpened/maintained. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I also ended the night a large/delicious dish of tabbouleh to enjoy over the next few days. I would highly recommend Donna to anyone who is looking for a personal cooking lesson/demonstration.

We had an excellent time cooking with Chris Paul. It is clear he is exceedingly knowledgeable about food and how best to prepare it. He can easily craft lessons for any skill level from novice (us) to expert (him). We had a great time learning cooking and baking basics with him over four classes. If you are interested in learning more about cooking, I highly recommend taking a class (or four).

Every meal I've had prepared by Joe has been A++. He has a wide range of cuisines he is versed in, such as Greek, Mexican, Moroccan, and Korean. As a busy professional, I don't always have time to cook. Knowing I can get a quality meal prepared in my home with the freshest ingredients, means I'm eating healthy and I still have time for everything else. Having a personal chef might be my best kept secret!

We all are every day cooks in our kitchens but to master this art, is not every one’s choice, fate or destiny-some are born with this and some are not. Cooking is an art & a way of expression for Chef Tancredi. Chef Tancredi has demonstrated not only of how much hard work, dedication, passion, self-strength and self-motivation is needed to succeed but this also comes naturally to her. She is not only very humble with a positive attitude & strong progressive thinking and is highly passionate about food knowledge, but also adds a sense of creativity in her work which makes her stand out from the rest.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
