My son got a guitar and lessons for his 7th birthday and has been working with Brook ever since. He's almost 12 now and it's been truly amazing to see how far he's come. Brook makes learning the music fun and works on songs he likes, so he actually wants to practice! Brook is very patient and encouraging. My son looks up to him and is eager to learn. As a parent, working with Brook has been great. He's flexible if we need to change a lesson due to a schedule conflict and gives a monthly reminder about payment, which i really appreciate. When we were planning to purchase an electric guitar for our son, we looked to Brook and his expertise for guidance. Brook is honest and just a phenomenal teacher. Every night is like being at a rock concert in our house and we love every second of it. Thank you Brook!

Bill Hoffman is the finest guitar player and teacher I have ever come across. He knows the guitar inside out, up and down and can play and teach all music styles from rock to country to classical. He is equally capable of teaching beginners as well as those who have played for years but need to get to a higher level. I have recommended him to several aspiring players, and when my own granddaughter wanted to take up guitar, I arranged lessons for her with Bill. I am that sold on his ability to help her achieve her dream.

Walter began giving my 15 year old daughter beginner lessons last year. She continues to take lessons from him and enjoys it. Walter is a great teacher- fun, knowledgeable, interactive and engaging! He is able to teach her the songs she likes and really individualizes his approach. I would highly recommend Walter as a guitar instructor.

About

Why my work stands out from others would be because I am very patient. Living with learning disabilities I have learned to view music education from many different angles. I studied music education at Westminster Choir College. That can be helpful when showing concepts and can make it easier for the student to understand. I'm also a karaoke host in the evenings. So I use my karaoke tracks for students to sing against. that way I can concentrate on your singing technique and not playing songs on my guitar/ piano. As far as guitar/ piano goes, being a DJ helps me understand the broad spectrum of music to help craft is students style.

I TEACH CLASSICAL GUITAR. DO NOT ASK ABOUT ELECTRIC/ROCK LESSONS. VIEW MY WEBSITE OR EMAIL ME FOR MORE INFORMATION. The Suzuki method is a fun and engaging way for young students (three and up) to learn to play the classical guitar. The method involves individual lessons, group lessons and concerts. The parents are closely involved with their child’s development. This method is rewarding and encourages children to further pursue their musical training.

    About

Hello! I am currently a sophomore at the University of Scranton, and I am looking to share my talent and knowledge of the guitar to aspiring/current guitar players around the Scranton area. I have been playing since I was nine years old and love the instrument dearly. I attended the Settlement School of Music in Philadelphia. I'm the lead guitar in several jazz ensembles and attended a music-concentrated high school back in my hometown of Cherry Hill New Jersey where I learned advanced music theory and recording production and performance, and much to the annoyance of people on the campus, I'm outside jamming with friends almost every day. I am a college student so I can only do lessons while school is in session but will make the most of the time I have with you. Whether you are a relatively experienced player or have never struck a power chord, I would love to help develop your knowledge and skill not only on the guitar but also of music theory and appreciation.

    About

I have been playing guitar since I was 12. I am 24 now and during the duration of that time, I have had various teachers and acquired encyclopedia amounts of information about guitar and teach from out my house the very thing's I've been taught at varying degrees of the guitar players’ abilities. I have a lot of students who are very new at playing whom have to get the dexterity built up in their fingers and the knowledge of the fret board in the early lessons. I have students who are going to be giving me a run for my money soon! Practice is everything, and most importantly, it's about having fun while learning!
