Gabe, as he is known, was hired to choreograph a hip hop dance for a Christian dance studio. He was the first male instructor for the dancers and they immediately liked him. He has such a welcoming and fun personality that it's impossible not to like him. When teaching even the most challenging choreography, he always makes it fun to learn (and watch if you're taking a peek). When the dance is performed it is always looks great and is very entertaining. He is a great teacher and would make a wonderful choice if you're ever in need of dance choreography. Can't say enough good things about this young man. I'm sure you'll be as satisfied and happy to know him as I am.
I have been taking private and group lessons with Ray for the past 5 years. He is a fabulous dancer, a patient teacher with a great sense of humor, and is passionate about ballroom dancing. Taking classes with him can get addictive because it's so much fun!
Mary Krause was wonderful!!! She conducted a Zumba session recently at our Health Fair and everyone had a great time--still getting compliments. Ms. Gourdine continues almost 3 decades to enhance others with her gifts of producing, choreography, mentoring and instructing techniques that have proven to be not only needed but now also required. Ms. Carlena Gourdine AKA CrazyCee has had the opportunity to work with, train choreograph and utilize the services of fellow choreographers in the industry to date. As she continues to expand her many contributions and business endeavors in the industry and abroad, she continues to promote the urban art culture. Ms. Gourdine continues in the belief that dance has always been the tie that bond us, with over 40 years of this cultural attribute to the minority's inner city problems, issues and circumstances. This movement gave birth to a new morally conscious generation, and this is known to many today as hip-hop! Being born in the early '70s, Ms. Gourdine was fortunate to be able to watch this infinite art form unfold and be able to understand and interpret it the way it was intended for us to grasp it! I want to reach out to the community and educate others about different forms of dance, whether they are preparing for the dance world or simply doing it as an enjoyment.
