It was such a pleasure working with Eleven Courses. As the wedding planner, I hired them based upon my client's taste to be our premier caterer for a tented wedding reception at Glenview Mansion on April 11, 2015. Eleven Courses not only worked with me throughout the whole process, (i.e. tasting, contract, and walkthrough at the venue) they were always very responsive to my questions. In all honesty, their blend of professionalism and friendliness immediately made me feel like I was part of their team. The day of the event, Eleven Courses went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfectly executed. They arrived on time, helped to set up the table linens, plates, glasses, etc. contracted out by the tent company. The presentation of the food was immaculate. The food not only looked great, it was delicious. As well, the food was more than enough to accommodate the guest count. The guests raved all night about the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres in the mansion, and the main entrees served during the reception. Clean up was also perfectly executed by Eleven Courses. Their staff of servers were excellent and very helpful, and our tandem coordination made things seamless. I am so excited to work with Eleven Courses again, and cannot wait to recommend them to my future clients. They will for sure be one of my premiere catering vendors! I was beyond pleased as a vendor, and individual. I am all about customer service and they are outstanding. Eric & Chrissy are beyond great, and down-to Earth individuals to work with. They also go out of their way to ensure that your vision for food at your event is executed. A big thank you! Words can not even begin to describe how AWESOME Denean's Party by Design is!!! I originally was one of those brides who thought I could do it all myself until I realized I COULDNT! In my search for a decorator and Day of Coordinator I came across Denean's Party By Design. From that first phone call, that first email I was already sold! David was our daughters officiant, and he did a great job. If we had needed a wedding planner I could tell just by the way he handled the ceremony that he would have been amazing at that as well.
BMore Fabulous was such a great find for our wedding, we will be looking to work with them again soon for our family reunion! I needed a wedding planner due to my busy schedule. I wanted someone to be able to accomplish anything I needed from vendor searches to scheduling. I quickly found out that I needed an all-inclusive package, however, all the polished major companies I found were charging a ridiculous amount of money and not providing everything I wanted to be accomplished. To save money and also try to support local businesses or start-ups, students, amateurs etc, I started to look for wedding planners on craigslist, thumbtack, local ads etc. I found BMore Fabulous and was quickly convinced that this was who I wanted to work with. The price was right, the details were many, and the contract was flexible. I did not realize until later, but we really did win big by working with this company. BMore Fabulous was more than all inclusive. Erin, the boss, accomplished all the expected all-inclusive activities such as finding vendors, scheduling meetings, and planning the day of events, but she did WAYY more than that. She was also our decorator for the venue, with her own linen and decor, she provided uplighting for beatuiful effects with her own equipment, and she was our florist for all the bouquets and decor. She also provided the staff and coordination for our bar. If you truly want all inclusive in one place, Erin, from BMore Fabulous is the WOMAN. Also, regardless of what she could provide, Erin, was very flexible. This, I find, might have been the most important benefit we got from working with them. I imagine other polished and bougie companies would be very strict and inflexible when it came to the contract, payment options, changes to your ideas and plans. With Erin, we were able to change our contract twice. Our payment options were flexible, and there were no hiccups with policies. If we had a vision, there was no headache with changing things. My husband and I are very particular and he had his doubts if all of our details would turn out right at the wedding. He actually had his doubts about BMore Fabulous, because all of our meetings were not conducted at an office, and details were written on lined paper, or an old laptop etc. In all reality, that was judgmental. Our wedding turned out absolutely beautiful! Despite that there were so many mistakes from our officiant and DJ, the crowd did not notice, and the only reason it ran as smooth as it did was because of BMore Fabulous! My husband in fact, later said how he was impressed by Erin and her work and how she did an exceptional job. Definitely work with BMore Fabulous!
Where do I begin?!!! Trina and her team were amazing! I initially reached out early last year just looking for quotes on decor setup. Trina responded immediately with a very professional and friendly response. Several months later, it was because of that response, that I reached out again. This time I also needed day of coordination services, along with the decor setup and tear down. She retained her professionalism and after our phone consultation, my wife and I knew we wanted to hire Affairs Remembered. Trina was a true blessing from the very beginning. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer, and her response time was very quick. Her pricing beat out all the rest, and was extremely fair. She never made us feel like we had "dumb" questions. We loved the fact that she was open to our suggestions, but when needed, advised us of a better solution she thought would work better. We appreciated that honesty since we had been planning on our own for so long. Much to our surprise Trina began taking over almost immediately. She maintained her professionalism when problems occurred and made us feel comfortable that we could trust her, and her team on our wedding day. Our ceremony and reception were outdoors and due to the weather Trina took good care to make respectful suggestions for our families in regards to having to tolerate the unexpected cold. With so many last minute changes, Trina communicated with all of our vendors, and made sure everything would still be executed according to our contracts. The day of our wedding, Trina and her team went above and beyond in all aspects. They called to make sure our hair and makeup team arrived on time, they tracked down park rangers when our caterer was stuck at the entrance of our reception location, the list goes on. They made sure my wife and I were calm, comfortable, and happy the entire day. Trina rearranged our timelines last minute when we took more time for our photos. She handled our families with respect, even when they were complaining. The biggest issue of the day was when a vendor was a no show. She tracked them down, and didn't take no for an answer in trying to resolve our major issue. She even offered to help mediate several days later to make sure we were refunded accordingly. You can trust one of the most important days of your life in Affairs Remembered's hands. Being someone who thought I had it all figured out, hiring Affairs Remembered was one of the smartest decisions I made. Our ceremony decor was breathtaking! Not once did we feel our wedding wasn't important because it was small and non-traditional. In Trina's eyes, our wedding wasn't just a "park wedding" but was just as important as a huge extravaganza would have been. Thank you doesn't even begin to describe how grateful we are to have worked with her!!
She made everything so easy, due to us not having a wedding planner for the ceremony. She was well organized and had very good ideas, she was ontime, and she made some jokes through out the ceremony that everyone laughted too.
I had the opportuntiy to work with Thammy and i must say she was very professional. She gave clear directions and no one was left wondering what to do. She also made the day very stress-free for the bride and the bridal party. She has a great personality and you can see her passion. My May 19, 2018 wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Aly! The weather changed at least once a day in the week approaching, and we had a plan for every outcome. I always knew Aly would answer my calls, texts and emails, and always had a solution for every issue -- real or imagined -- I could think of. Lawrence was the co coordinator of my wedding in June 2012. He was responsible for the bridal party/family dinner June 8th and the wedding reception on June 9th. Lawrence was also in charge of the cake selection. I was so impressed with his level of professionalism throughout the entire process. Lawrence was always punctual for all meetings and would arrive before me on every occasion. Lawrence had great-attention to detail and displayed his culinary expertise from the beginning to end of the entire planning process. My wedding reception was absolutely everything I had imagined. Lawrence is the type of event planner that thinks outside of the box to provide his clients with an "Extraordinary" experience. I highly recommend him and he is well worth my 5 star rating. Hiring Gene to plan the most amazing day of our lives was the smartest choice that my fiancé (at the time) and I could have ever made. We both work full time jobs, we remain involved in our community and we are full time parents of two lovely children. Needless to say, there was no time for us to even think of a wedding let alone plan one. Gene worked with us from the very beginning until the very end. His calm and patient nature relaxed us when we encountered our most difficult decisions. His organization and ability to pay attention to the littlest detail is truly masterful.
