Needed a toilet picked up b/c city trash would not take it. They gave me the best quote in the area and had the job done within two hours of my request.
On time, rapid response to our request for a next-day moving pickup. Would use them again for sure.
Aldo came out the same day I called him. I was in a hurry to get a large load (easily 2 pickup truck loads)of wood construction waste out of my yard. He loaded the waste onto his truck by himself on the spot. He really helped me out and gave me a good price as a bonus. Aldo is hard working and honest, character you don't see much these days. I highly recommend Aldo. Jack M.
As a result, he was awesome! I got some massages from several pros and I agonized about hiring one of two. One was Derek and another was look like a professional company. My husband suggested hiring a company with a lot of reviews. But I found some review complaining that they were late. Derek had only 6 reviews but all of them seemed to be satisfied and those were written very recently. Also his quote was very reasonable. So I hired him to disassemble my queen size bed frame and move to a garbage dump. On Sunday, he came on time and finished the work in 20 min. He was polite and expeditious!
Kyle did an excellent job installing a garbage disposal at my home. He was effective and efficient! I would hire him again!
We have a rare situation in an old building where the trash need to be hauled out by hand. Every week they come exactly when they say they will and do a very thorough job. Very highly recommended.
Did a great job! I would recommend this company for anyone looking to remove a large quantity of garbage including appliances and furniture from a property.
These guys were great. Very upfront about the cost for removing a huge water heater, one too big for multiple other contractors we contacted to move, and very professional. They wound up using a pickup to help tow it up through the bulkhead, and, as promised, left no marks on the lawn (and they made sure to check that they wouldn't be driving over the septic). It was a beast of a job and they handled it perfectly. Couldn't recommend more highly.
I had an AMAZING experience with John and his team. They were kind, accommodating, personable and flexible. They were willing to work with me on the most affordable way to get my piano from one place to another. It was packaged so that I didn't have to worry about any damage and they left everything spotless upon pickup and drop off. I would MORE THAN recommend this team!
Jose fixed a garbage disposal for a tenant of mine. He showed up right away and had it fixed immediately. I would definitely hire him again.
TLDR: Conford moving faced down seemingly insurmountable odds to get a big move done successfully with care, communication, and dedication. Be sure to pre-negotiate the use of a credit card for payment to avoid additional fees. You're in the best hands with Victor and Stalin. We had a big, and what turned out to be quite complicated move from Boston to the South Shore. Victor and Stalin were easy to work with from the very beginning. They came out to walk through our home to estimate the time and amount of space needed in transport. Since we were doing a local move where we needed to be out of the property at the last day of the month, but didn't have access to the new property until the first of the next month we knew we couldn't complete the job in 1 day. Victor estimated hours to move out, travel time to return the following day to complete the job, and unloading time. He included an overnight storage fee. We also talked about whether he would need a crew of 3 or 4 guys, and Victor felt confident that a crew of 3 could handle the move. He sent a breakdown of costs by hour with the other fees detailed. We scheduled the arrival time in the afternoon of the move out day. The first complication arose when the truck broke down in between jobs. Stalin called me and kept me informed of of the progress and continually updated me with arrival time estimates. Victor found a replacement truck during the highest moving time and despite several set-backs, the crew arrived at about 7:30pm and began the load out. A less dedicated team may have given up in the face of such overwhelming odds and left us in the lurch, but these guys worked miracles. They loaded out until about midnight, locked up the truck and arranged to return in the morning to finish the load-out and move. The second complication arose from underestimating the amount of space needed to ship our belongings. The crew got to work doing some serious Tetris in the truck to use every inch of available space. this took a bit more time than anticipated, but they were able to fit almost everything. It was touch and go as to whether things would work and I offered to rent an additional UHAUL truck to pack the overage if needed. Victor felt everything might fit, so we waited on securing an additional truck. When it became apparent that everything would not fit, it was too late to get a truck for the crew to load. We ended up making 3 additional trips with a pickup, but the crew loaded all the goods we couldn't load or unload ourselves into their truck and the first load for the pickup. We were able to handle everything else on our own. The guys arrived at the new location with perfect timing as I had just enough time to sweep before moving in our belongings. There were a couple of pieces of furniture that needed to be removed from the new location and the guys handled that easily. They unloaded our belongings and even though exhaustion was setting in, they remained cheerful and dedicated. We did help schlepp boxes as the day wore on to keep the time as manageable as possible. My iphone tracked 81 sets of stairs I climbed that day. The final complication arose as we were settling up for the job. The job ran over estimates for time and we had figured on about $1,500 total. Because of the truck space and the extra time needed to strategically pack the truck, plus the additional time just from being tired from such a big job and working until midnight, we ended up with a little more than $2,000 for the total. When scheduling the work, I confirmed I would be using a credit card for payment. The company uses Square for credit card payments and has the account set to automatically include a 10% upcharge for "sales tax." Since sales tax is not applicable for labor, only on goods, and neither Rhode Island where the company is based, or Mass where the work was being done, has a 10% sales tax, this seemed strange. Victor did offer that check or cash payment could be accepted without the 10% upcharge, but since this was the first notice I had, cash or check was not possible. After some discussion I asked for a 5% discount on the work explaining that would allow the company to cover Square's processing fees without breaking the bank. This was happily granted. At the end of the day the crew did a terrific job with helpful and cheerful attitudes, and took great care with both of the buildings we inhabited and our belongings. They came through a very difficult situation with the loss of the truck during the most in-demand time for moving and got us moved. They were creative, reliable and completely dependable and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Very punctual and professional. Installed a fan, garbage disposal, replaced toilet flush kit and fixed a few other issues. Highly recommended for the work and the charges were also nominal as compared to other handymen I have used before.
Richard provided me with free advice that fixed my issue with my garbage disposal that otherwise would have costed me hundreds of dollars.
Moving into our new home, we knew going in that 2 bedrooms will need fans and the dining need a light fixture. Mike texted me as soon as he received the request from thumbtack. They arrived promptly the first day and fixed the fans within 45 mins. The next day, although an hour late, they both returned to start the project on the ceiling light. It was rather cumbersome. Dave is an absolute delight to be around, professional, persistent and gets the job done! I will go no further, but to call them anytime I need more work done. Great pricing, and the best work. Dave you rock!
Aristides was extremely professional arriving early and arranging my furniture with care inside the truck.
Joseph did a great job. I had a few small projects for him and was thrilled w his work and his prices. He replaced my garbage disposal, patched up a hole in the wall and painted two rooms. Lucky to have found him! It all came out great!
David did a great job beyond what anyone else has done for plowing. His guys also shoveled a walkway not only to my door but my garbage cans as well that are a good 15 feet away from the walkway to the door!!! He will be used in the future!
I recently hired M&M Moving to relocate a grand piano recently purchased. I chose them through Thumbtack based primarily on the reviews. They arrived at the promised to pickup the piano and delivered it in a timely fashion to my residence. As the other reviewers described, Marcin and his crew were very polite and super efficient while being very careful with the instrument. I am happy to give them the highest recommendation.
It's amazing how many times I've needed a dumpster. From moving, to spring cleaning, to a nightmare/endless renovation. Used LPC for a good number of them. Always on time whether it is a delivery, a pickup, or a swap. No hesitation for me to call LPC for my next dumpster.
They showed up in uniform and went right to work with fast friendly customer service. Get Job I would recommend them to anyone.
Fast, Professional and Courteous. They brought a mini garbage truck and compacted couches, furniture and other large items. It would have been several trips with a dump truck the other company quoted me with. Big Savings!
