Stephen is very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness- he explains every exercise and movement you do in detail and provides you with the proper form and technique necessary to maximize the benefits of any given movement. His background and experience is extensive and he wants to equip you with the knowledge to be "the smartest person at the gym." I have tried sessions with many trainers and not a single one even remotely compares to Stephen. He is flexible in working with you to find the best times to train with your schedule and capitalizes on every minute of your session. After ten sessions, I am already seeing results and progress in my strength and physique. As mentioned in the title of this post, my only disappointment is that Thumbtack only allows a five star maximum for ratings. Stephen is worthy of far more than that.

Lou is fun, friendly, caring, and fair. He loves his job and is not just a personal trainer but a nutritionist which is super helpful. Even with one 1 hour workout a week with him I see results, which is hard to believe but true! He is helping me gain muscle. I love that he is conscious of the type of supplements he recommends and he is an advocate of natural eating, unlike many trainers out there who recommend terrible harsh products. He is encouraging, reasonable, and pushes me to the right extant, and is careful to avoid injury. Lou fosters healthy body image.. He asked what my goals are and is quick to respond to emails, texts and other communication. He has a flexible schedule and will work with the client's busy schedule to schedule sessions. He is a good guy... I certainly recommend him to anyone.

I sought out personal training because I was overweight, out of shape, & when I went to the gym I had no idea what I was doing. I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford it & also worried that personal training was more suited to athletes or bodybuilders. I posted on this site, & got some responses very quickly. Johnny was one of the first to contact me, & we worked out a plan I could afford which he felt would help me achieve my objectives. In two and a half months I lost nearly thirty pounds with a meal plan Johnny devised, meeting with him once a week, & doing workouts he designs & monitors on my own. I am in better health overall & feel more confident at the gym. I am still working with Johnny & feel my decision to do personal training with him was a wise decision. Johnny has a studio he shares with other trainers, & it's clean & never crowded. He has a lot of knowledge about fitness, health, & exercise. He varies my routines so I'm always learning new things. He works with bodybuilders as well as couch potatoes like myself, & I highly recommend him as a trainer.

Trent is a very professional trainer , he is always on time , very flexible and always easy to reach. During the first consultation all questions were answered letting me know what to expect. I started training with him 3 weeks ago and he helped me a lot with building my body and keep me strong. You should expect to have a hard workout with him , but the most interesting thing about working with Trent that he's always changing the way of the workouts , so every time you are doing a new workout so you can't get boring. I will have him as my personal trainer untill the last day of my vacation here.

Geoff is an outstanding trainer! As a former collegiate athlete and someone who considers himself fairly athletic, I was surprised by how much I learned and how effective workouts were with him. Geoff pushed me in ways that I have never been pushed before, all while explaining the purpose of the techniques. I fell like I had a very customized plan that focused on the parts of my body that needed the most attention; Geoff attempted and succeeded at making my weaknesses my strengths. It was great working out with Geoff, and when my schedule allows for it, I'd love to do more of it. Thanks!

David is an awesome trainer. Very professional but at the same time, kind and friendly. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of physical fitness. He will adopt a program that fits your individual needs to get you the results you are looking for. He will help keep you motivated by mixing up your workouts so that you never get bored by the same old routine. He knows how to get you to challenge yourself and push yourself harder than you think you are capable of all while also knowing when you are at your limit and need to take a break or modify what you are doing. I have personally seen results that I had only dreamed I could achieve. Revival Fitness is a small place, not a "gym", so you will get a one on one workout with David and usually only a few other people in the place at the same time so you don't have to worry about feeling intimidated. No matter what your size, shape, fitness level, age or gender, I highly recommend Revival Fitness and know you will benefit from working out with David.

Alan helped me get back into shape after taking the summer off due to a surgery on my wrist. I’m feeling stronger than I ever have! I am getting back to softball season in the best shape I’ve been and I am already hitting the ball harder and farther. Alan will push you to your limits and hold you accountable for your own success. Change Your Body Fitness has not only "Changed My Body", but "Changed My Life"...for the good! If you want results and are serious about change, Anthony is the person to see. He has been by my side through the good, bad and everything in between for the past 10 years! Not just a strength trainer but a guru in whole body wellness. Tom Doherty is an amazing personal trainer. Over the past 25 years, I have sought personal training expertise from at least 10 different individuals and interviewed twice as many. Sometimes, I was looking for help to tone and build strength. Other times, I was seeking a training program for a particular race or to participate in a particular athletic adventure (e.g. mountain climbing or a road bike tour). Over the years, I discovered that most trainers were basically offering the same thing, but maybe with a few different machines or a few different exercises. Tom’s skill set is one I have not come close to finding in any other professional. In addition to his bachelors degree in exercise physiology and experience working with college athletes as well as golfers, he has pursued extensive ongoing training in functional exercise and has developed a significant expertise in corrective exericse. He can recognize specific weaknesses or areas where the body is compensating for other places where it shouldn’t be. He has helped me recover from countless minor issues with pain or injury as well as significant issues with back pain which had sidelined me from most athletic activities. He loves what he does and it shows. He is funny, engaging and has a range of interests and experiences that are inspiring and thought provoking. He is knowledgeable about overall fitness as well as ultimate sports. He has raced in many marathons as well as 100+ mile team races. He is an avid snow boarder, runner, golfer and mountain bike rider. But, most importantly, professionally, he is intensely focused on each individual client’s health and well-being, paying particular attention to the person’s goals, blind spots, habits, motivations, and practices. His assessments of overall body balance, alignment and strength along with one’s injuries, pain, and endurance/fitness are targeted and informative. He educates clients about their particular body status and puts training plans together that prioritize the right set of strengthening and repair (as needed), so that whatever needs addressing first receives the right attention. He understands injuries and how other professional interventions can assist recovery (e.g. physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, etc.), so his training programs can work in conjunction with such therapies. His expertise is appropriate for those wishing to develop more elite athletic skills to those healing from injuries, eager to get back in shape. While his main client population is adults (ages 20s to 50s), he also has expertise in working with older adults and teenagers. He has had great success engaging older adults who may have lifelong habits, practices or injuries that need repair and correction along with light education. His training programs are targeted for the appropriate strength, mobility and capacities of the older individual. On the other end of the spectrum, he is a fabulous trainer of adolescents, girls and boys, understanding the different body types, developmental issues and appropriate training guidelines that can help educate young people about their own bodies as well as about their fitness capacities and goals. I highly recommend Tom as a personal trainer for these many different populations and targeted needs. He excels in this profession he loves. He is far more sophisticated than most “standard” personal trainers. He is committed to what he does and to ongoing learning about new developments and approaches in his various areas of expertise. Clients will learn far more than they might have imagined in their work with Tom Doherty.

Danielle has been especially good at creating a program tailored to my specific needs. I have osteoporosis and previous shoulder injuries and she is well educated in these conditions. Both I and my doctors feel confident training under her supervision and have seen great improvements in my strength and overall health. I find that she is more knowledgeable than gym trainers I've used in the past and I highly recommend her.
