Me and my husband got lucky meeting Rio. We were out shopping when our wedding photographer cancelled on us. We did not who to go to and we was frustrated because our wedding was in 2 days so we decided to go to the park to clear our heads. That day we decided to go get a drink at the W Hotel in Boston. We noticed they’re was a upscale gala event on the 2nd floor but we did not have tickets to get in so we continued our night at the lounge seating area and when we had our final drink. We decided it was time for us to go. As we were approaching the door to exit. A crowd of people from the gala event were leaving. While waiting outside for Lyft. Rio came out of the W Hotel with the crowd of people. He had this passion in his eyes. He started taking photos of couples walking by that had stopped for a few seconds to see the photos he has taken of them and we witnessed these couples were so excited and happy about the photos. Rio took out his iPad and it seems like he was transferring his images to his device and giving it to strangers for free. More and more people started surrounding him so I grabbed my husbands hand and I grabbed Rios attention tapping on his shoulder. He had this big great smile that lit up the boardwalk. We asked him if he could take us a few photos . Rio centered himself and told us what to do and how to stand. We were amazed at the photo results. He told us to wait at the W Hotel entrance and we thought he left because everyone started leaving. When we thought a Rio left, and all hope started to fall apart. He appeared behind our backs with a full printed photo of me and my husband. The best picture ever, he said “ this my free gift to you and as he walked away. My husband runs over to him and begs Rio if he would accept and take photos at our wedding as the main photographer and that we would pay him and he would be a guest. He is the kindest smi,I gotta angel from heaven. A,ways smiling, professional with a big heart.
