I must say I am extremely impressed with the quality of service from the first phone call through the tutoring sessions. It is a night and day difference between Arbor and other companies around. These are the best tutors in the business PERIOD.
I will hire Oliver again in a minute and plan to as long as he tutors. He made the difference between my grandson failing 8th grade math and making it to 9th grade. Who could ask for more? Quality = 100%!
Kathie was wonderful with my daughter. We only had a short time to work together before my daughter had to take her ACT and because of Kathie my daughter felt prepared. Will absolutely use her again for my other daughter!
Tolu was a great college essay writing tutor. Tolu helped me formulate organized, well written college entrance essays. Instead of writing for me, like most of my former tutors, she helped me figure out what I wanted to say, then instructed me on how to organize my thoughts into a coherent piece. I would recommend Tolu to anyone!
Michael is very professional and punctual in returning work. I've hired him for three different writing projects, each requiring a different and unique tone, and he was able to adapt his writing style to fit each. His research skills have also proved to be top notch. I highly recommend him.
He is the one of the best man in the world . I am super happy for learning. Language with him
Linda has tutored two of my sons over the last five years. My older son was able to improve his SAT scores as well as perfect his college application essay. He got into his first college choice. My younger son had problems expressing himself in writing and started working with Linda in 8th grade. Later he studied with Linda for ACT and got into his first college choice. Overall I was impressed with Linda's professionalism, great energy and great rapport with kids. They loved studying with her. In addition I could always rely on Linda being up to date on latest changes in SAT/ACT tests, which was tremendously helpful last year. We all feel very fortunate to have Linda as our ' Language Coach'.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Really, I have never written a review for anyone so worthy!! If you are looking for someone to transform your resume, (and career potential), look no further! Kati was patient with me and a true professional that put her heart this project and really helped me through this challenging endeavor of re-inventing my resume! CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH, and when I land that dream job, I will come back and write another review that I could not have done it without her! Blessing!
Mrs. M worked with our school for several months as a substitute literacy teacher. She is excellent: Gets along well with students, very knowledgeable about literacy supports and interventions, conscientious and detail oriented. Highly recommend her!
Beth "joined" our family six weeks and has been a blessing in disguise. Each week she meets with our son and challenges him to get out of his comfort zone and to further expand on his reading comprehension and writing skills. While challenging Alex, she has also helped him to develop a confidence in his work and helped give him the tools to succeed. If you are looking for someone to help your son/daughter further develop their skills over the summer or throughout the school year, I would highly recommend Beth.
Gold Test Prep helped me ace my SATs! My score improved by ~250 points with just 3 weeks of tutoring. I wish I had signed on with them sooner! All of the tutors are really timely/professional and they know how to make the material easy to understand. I highly recommend this company! Thanks, GTP!
I'm not a business. However, I'm trying to state a business in tutoring children. For any job I've gotten, that's what I did. I tutor children and help them improve so much in their education. As they got older, they'd come to me if they are in need of any tutoring. They recommend me to people and/or after school services that need people like me who works with kids in improving their skills in not only reading and writing, but also in math.
Certified elementary special education teacher grades K-5 I am a special education teacher, certified in Orton-Gillingham by the Massachusetts General Hospital. I ran the Language Based Program in Weymouth for 19 years. I specialize in teaching a phonics based approach to Reading, Writing and Spelling. Individual tutoring is ideally suited to remediate the student's specific weaknesses. Phonics instruction helps the student with reading fluency and comprehension. Tutoring gives the student the confidence they need to be successful in school by boosting their self esteem and helping them to take risks necessary to learn. I try to foster an appreciation for reading by using reading material that matches each student's interests.
