Cynthia is an amazing yogi. She not only inspires with her great classes, which always include creative asana and calming mindfulness, and her energy is very zen and her words resonate with all. She's a beautiful soul and a blessing to any yoga community.

Working with Mihaela has been transformative. I recently asked her to give my team private yoga instruction as a way to reward great work, and also increase well-being and productivity. She has given us all of that and more. We all feel an incredible change in our bodies, and minds thanks to her coaching. She not only gives us a great full body work out, but she helps us to deal with stresses and anxieties in life and in the workplace. We love working with Mihaela and would recommend her highly to everyone we know, and especially those interested in private yoga classes!

Being part of the "not-so-young" and "new-to-yoga" club, I find Cate's teaching style to be extremely helpful, encouraging, supportive and down-to-earth. Cate focuses on positive messages and practicing safely within your own physical limitations by modifying and adjusting poses to your needs. Cate makes you realize that Yoga is truly for everyone and all are welcome!

So happy to have found Nicole and get one on one yoga lessons from her. After going over my background and goals, she crafted a sequence to suit my needs. Having the one on one experience with her was so valuable. I learned more in one session with Nicole than I would have in 10 group classes. Not only did she give simple, easy to follow cues, she always kept it light and fun. She came in with great energy and even when I was struggling with things she made sure I was smiling. I would highly recommend Nicole to beginners. I wish I started my practice in a one on one setting (instead of fumbling through packed classes trying to cheat off my matt neighbor who probably didn't know what they were doing either) or to the more experienced to deepen their practice. Not to mention her playlist was dynamite!!

Jen is an amazing yoga instructor- she challenges you without pressure or pushing you. Under her weekly instruction, I was able to gain strength and flexibility as well as a deeper focus on breathing and introspection. Her classes have great playlists and a fun flow. She is truly the best instructor, I have found and would recommend her classes without reservation!

        About

Mary is a yoga teacher trained in gentle, all levels of vinyasa and power yoga. She loves teaching all levels of practitioners and can help with modifications to make the practice uniquely yours.

        About

My classes focus on working to be present, both emotionally and physically. My classes are influenced by traditional hatha practice that incorporates invitational language and options for modifications and personal choice. Through an intentionally and thoughtfully sequenced class, I work to guide students to link body and breath to clear the mind while elongating, strengthening, and opening the physical body. One of my favorite parts about teaching is to help students as their practice evolves. There is always room to take a pose to the next level or to take a step back and explore the foundation of a pose. I hope to create an environment that offers support, safety, and an invitation to create self-compassion. I teach hatha, vinyasa, yin, restoratives, and therapeutics for all levels.

I have worked extensively with young people and adults in many contexts, including individual and group work at nonprofits, universities, and businesses. I facilitate of a 10-week online seminar for women entitled, Everyday Leadership, and created a holistic support group for mothers. My approach utilizes the wisdom of both the mind and the body to uncover and change belief systems that can inhibit making change. I partner with clients to help them uncover blockages and develop practices that support them to take concrete action steps towards manifesting dreams. I have completed a master’s degree in social work, Kripalu and integrative yoga therapy certifications, and extensive training in sensorimotor psychotherapy and with landmark education. I bring compassion, commitment and humor to her work. Testimonial: "Sarah is a skillful practitioner who made me feel safe. This safety enabled me to journey deeply within myself and discover the wisdom that was there. Through my work with her, I shifted things; it would have taken me years to shift with in traditional therapy." —Linda L., entrepreneur and mother

Per my profile, I'm in the midst of teacher training now so if you're looking for an advanced teacher, I'm not your gal. However, I've been a student of the practice (particularly the asana- movement side) for years. Looking for opportunities to share the practice I love!

        About

Yoga is offered for all ages, levels, lifestyles and bodies! Custom and unique yoga practices tailored to the needs of individual students. With a strong focus on alignment and hands-on adjustments, Lauren creates fresh and exciting sequences that will invigorate the spirit. Borrowing elements from Tai Chi, Budokon, Pilates and various yogic disciplines, Lauren can accommodate any level of athleticism, strength and flexibility. Anyone can practice yoga; all that is required is to step on the mat and open the mind. Class styles include: * Hatha Yoga This is a slower and more traditional approach. Postures are sustained while the focus remains on alignment and breath. This is a great start for beginners and yet still challenging for veteran yogins who want to improve postural alignment. * Power Yoga It is fantastic for building strength, focus and balance. With more time spent on the standing series, students will be challenged both physically and mentally as the core gets a serious workout with Power Yoga. * Vinyasa Flow For any level, Vinyasa flow classes are dynamic and movement oriented. It includes dance from one Asana to another and move with the breath. * Yogalates This is a yoga and Pilates fusion that is great for increasing core strength and toning glutes and thighs. Classes usually start with a standing series of yoga postures and continue with Pilates style floor work. * Restorative Yoga It is a gentle practice perfect for anyone yearning to slow down and relax. Restorative yoga is also highly beneficial for those recovering from injury or suffering from chronic pain. The majority of the practice is done in a supine position with the body supported by props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets. * Prenatal Yoga It helps you connect with your baby, continue to strengthen the body and relax the mind. Prenatal classes are meant to help ease anxiety about delivery, relieve tension in the body, and help mom and baby bond. Prenatal yoga is suited for any level and all trimesters. * Yoga for Hockey players Designed specifically for men who play hockey, Lauren’s yoga for hockey players series targets tightness that results from the love of the game. This series will increase balance, focus, stamina and stability both on the mat and on the ice. Specific attention is given to shoulders, hips and groins, increasing range of movement and strength in these areas, and making them less prone to injury. * Corporate Yoga
