Thanks John, you guys did a great job, now keep it up with Goldie!!!
John was excellent and most importantly very kind. He spent more than enough time with Rocco and helped us out with our 1 year old Rottweiler. From the outstanding results we decided to hire John again to spend even more time with Rocco. We highly recommend John to help you get the very best results out of your dog.Apr 17, 2017Verified
We just finished our 3 sessions. We learned a lot and had a great experience. I definitely see a change in our puppy. I highly recommend hiring Balanced Pooches..Nov 14, 2016Verified
John was so helpful with our Jack Russell mix Doug. Doug has made so much progress in such a short time. He was acting aggressive when people came into our house and after a few weeks he is doing so much better. John's methods are positive and very effective. Doug loves participating in the training and we are on the right track to having a perfectly behaved dog.Sep 26, 2016Verified
We needed help training two rescue lab puppies. The girl was especially difficult as she has some type of separation anxiety. She would cry when we left the room and jump every time anyone walked in. We tried punishing, praising, and ignoring but nothing worked. After the first session, she was about 80% better, and she has continued to improve daily. He did an amazing job of training us how to train both of them. He broke each training (stay, come, leave it, etc.) into easy to follow steps. I would recommend him to anyone.May 30, 2017

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Certified Dod Trainer, Animal Behavioral College
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I became a Certified Dog Trainer because my pooch, Nakita was at the time, a 2 year old Husky that didn't listen to anything. She is very independent and strong willed. She was on her own on the streets for a few weeks and when I had the opportunity to adopt her, she knew no commands and was a flight risk. She also didn't respond to Treats for training, so I needed to know how Huskies think and understand. My goal was to learn from her as well as learn from books and online videos. Then, when I could not find a Certified Trainer in my area, is when I knew that I could be the help that many people, and pooches, needed.
- What types of customers have you worked with? All ages and all breeds. I train everyone involved with the pooch(s).
