Introduction: I am RHODE ISLAND based for over 10 years. I believe in quality over quantity and I strive to capture the most authentic, story telling moments. Prices are subject to change and are by the hour. I offer mini sessions in RI I DO NOT do VIDEO. If you are looking for videographers, look up videographers. I have a unique style and an eye that sees you at your best moments. I love to have fun and to be spontaneous. I will ease you into the process to get you at your most relaxed state of mind so you can flow with confidence throughout the session. I had a wonderful experience having Jess Lee as the photographer for my daughters wedding. She took magnificent pictures, capturing all the important moments of the entire wedding event. Her creativity and professional eye enabled her to provide photos that I/we will always treasure. The bride and groom feel exactly as I do, as I’m the mother of the bride. She was friendly and, more importantly, listened to us to shoot precisely what we requested for all our “special family” photos. We couldn’t have been happier with her. Jess was amazing and super professional. She made the whole experience so easy and is very go with the flow. As a mom that works, I find this extremely valuable in someone I’m doing business with, as sometimes things in life do come up. I had to re schedule with her once and she was very kind and accommodating. She was so great with my one and six year olds and got incredible results from the session. I would have been happy to have 5 or 6 good pictures (taking pictures with babies/kids is very hit or miss) and was left with too many to choose from. She is super talented and professional. I am extremely impressed with the photos and can’t wait to frame and hang them up!

I highly recommend Jess Lee Images. Jess was early to the session, stuck to the schedule and made the photo session fun and rewarding. Great pictures and experience on the day of the event! Her prices were reasonable and she was super sweet. She arrived at the agreed-upon time (which I had easily changed from the original contract). She communicated well with the DJ to be sure to capture some of the special moments within her timeframe. We even asked her to stay longer than we planned. I would hire her again- with an understanding of two things that would have helped to know in the beginning. From our experience, we learned not to expect timely responses to calls or messages. After a couple of messages/emails/calls over a span of multiple days, we were able to finally connect with Jess. Another thing to potentially anticipate is longer than the projected processing time. The original estimate was 10 days max for a couple of hours of photos (under 150 photos). I received the photos just before 6 weeks after the event. On one of the calls to check-in on the progress (about a week past the original estimate), she did tell me that she had a computer crash- so that complicated her estimate for the project completion. In our final conversation, she did share that she is building the business side of the work but certainly stands behind the quality of her photos.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
•Portraits sessions start at $250/hour •Headshots start at $200/hour • Family portraits start at $300 •Graduation solo portraits start at $250/hour, group photos are an additional $75 groups of up to 6 •Events ( birthdays , bachelorette parties, etc. ) start at 150/hr , minimum 2 hours •Weddings start at $250/hour. Minimum 2 hours ~I offer 30 minute mini sessions starting at $150 ~All packages include a certain amount of professionally retouched images . Any images that acceed the amount included are $15/image. ~25% discount is offered at an additional 10 images or more. All clients will have access to their own private online viewing gallery where they can select their favorite images.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a meet n’ greet. So I can get a better sense of the person and they can get a sense of who I am . I like to brainstorm to come up with the best solution to their desired achievement of the photo session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
100% self taught and proud of it! I am also a member of Sag/Aftra and understand what goes on IN FRONT of the camera.
