I must say I am extremely impressed with the quality of service from the first phone call through the tutoring sessions. It is a night and day difference between Arbor and other companies around. These are the best tutors in the business PERIOD.

Oliver tutored me for my Statistics exam among other Math related courses. I struggled with math all of my academic life and Oliver was well aware of my fears and weaknesses with math in general. He was able to accommodate his teaching style to my needs. I would not have passed otherwise. Oliver is very kind, hard working, smart and reliable. I owe him a lot of credit for helping me get through my courses in math!

I was a student at The Pennsylvania State University and decided to take Calculus III and Vector Analysis over the summer at a local college. I met with Michelle each week to go over the material I learned, complete homework assignments and study for upcoming exams. It was a very challenging class but Michelle was very helpful in explaining the topics and I ended up receiving at B+ in the class. I would highly recommend her as a math tutor.

Lisa is great. Lisa is all about learning the right way, positive reinforcement and truly caring about your child. I first reached out to Lisa for SSAT's but realized she made it much more than that. Lisa is a true educator about how to learn and what you as a parent can do to help. My daughter test scores improved in reading and reading comprehension (her weakness) and in math. Building confidence in herself and in reading is what Lisa does. Having a child who embraces reading now is what it is all about, life long results are the best results. Can't say enough.

Kathie was wonderful with my daughter. We only had a short time to work together before my daughter had to take her ACT and because of Kathie my daughter felt prepared. Will absolutely use her again for my other daughter!

Mr. Bailey tutored my 12yr old son in Geometry. Mr. Bailey is an extremely kind and patient teacher. He always made learning math interesting for my son and also made sure my son fully comprehended what they were working on before moving forward. He used a lot visual teaching techniques as well, which helped my son out tremendously. I would strongly recommend Mr. Bailey to anyone looking for a tutor for their child. I know we are looking forward to future sessions with him this Fall ☺

Kristen is a very intelligent person who is awesome at what she does. She tutored me for the better part of two years in both Algebra II and Pre-Calc/Trig. Kristen is punctual, organized and really knows her stuff! Very open and friendly, I felt comfortable with her from day one. If you have trouble understanding something right away, she goes over it again in a different way until you do. I would recommend her for tutoring over any other tutor I have worked with!

Elisha is a very qualified tutor. She not only knew the subject material well, she was very patient and made sure I understood everything well. She helped me prepare for my SAT. Before I sought tutoring, my math score was 440 and after studying with Elisha, my math score went up to 690. I can’t recommend her enough.

I decided to work with Karoline after I received a 60% on a homework assignment that the Professor assigned for review. On top of this failing grade, I was struggling to understand new material because there were certain basic concepts that I did not have previous knowledge of. Although I have never been very comfortable with math, this failing grade made it clear that there were large gaps in my math abilities and that I was already at a disadvantage as compared to my peers. I started looking for a math tutor, and after trying a few, I am so lucky I found Karoline! Whether it is the simplest concepts (for example, I have a hard time with inequality notation) or something complicated and theoretical, Karoline explains math with clarity, grace, and real-world relevance. She goes above and beyond for her students. She is always on time, responds to phone calls/texts immediately, and works hard to accommodate busy schedules. Recently, I was not aware that a teacher moved our exam to an earlier date and I started to get nervous. Karoline changed her schedule around to meet with me three days in a row. She also prepared a sheet of practice problems for me to work on after our tutoring sessions. I also want to note that she is very helpful in terms of study skills and organization techniques. I am fairly messy and so have always been prone to silly mistakes in math. Karoline recognized that this was an obstacle for me and so she helped me devise a special system to organize my math problems into a step-by-step chart so that I could more effectively check my work. I am entering my final exam with an A in the course and truly have Karoline to thank for this. I promise that if you are looking for a math tutor, look no further. You will not regret it!

He helped the students increase the their scores substantially and they enjoyed their lessons with him. If you want a knowledgeable, energetic and friendly tutor, choose Jared.

About

Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I am excited to help your son/daughter achieve the confidence he/she needs in order to be successful in mathematics. I have had two previous math tutoring jobs. One of my tutoring jobs focused on a third grader's need to become successful in her multiplication facts. I came to each session with a fun game to help her practice her facts or with different tricks that helped her remember the tables. We practiced timed tests, and this allowed her the confidence she needed to succeed. My other tutoring job was for a seventh grader. I helped him work on homework weekly and showed him important study strategies for math. I think a lot of students don't know how to study for math, so that was key for his success.
