Nothing short of mind blowing and life changing! If you are looking for a way to get your life and spiritual health back on track and want to work on becoming the best person you can be, then I highly suggest going to Richer Life Journey! Especially if you are stuck in a rut or feeling depressed, fatigued and desperate need of a jump start and guidance. I see Molly Ryan at the Richer Life Journey Center. I have a chronic illness, had been very fatigued and feeling really lost and depressed. Main stream medical has failed me so I wanted to try some less conventional types of treatments to see if I could at least get my energy up and centered. I didn't know to much about reiki other than it cleans up your energy and centers it. First off Molly is an amazing and gifted woman. She is compassionate and truly wants to help people. I go in there a mess and a scatter brain and leave feeling special, grounded and truly loved by her. I feel like I am important and I do count. That is a gift within itself . Not only is Molly a reiki master, but she is also a medium and intuitive healer. I had no clue what I was in for. I feel she is one of those gifted people you see on TV or read about. I have been getting the color and sound reiki sessions. It's over an hour long and in just a few minutes I am deeply relaxed. Buckets of stress wash away. Durring the sessions there are sounds and smells. I can physically feel a shift durring this time as spirit works through her. The more times I went the more I could "feel" durring the sessions. It was quite exciting and even more so when we discussed it together latter and found we shared similar experiences durring our time together. Equally important and impressive is the period after the session where she discusses with you what information she received from you and spirit. Yes she is very gifted and can tap into all of that. I actually tag on an extra half an hour of counseling also. I believe she may be a certified Councelor or has some sort of degree also. But durring the time after the session she explains what she saw as she worked with each individual chakra and if need be, things to be worked on and or adjusted in your life. This part of the session was mind blowing. She knew things about me that she could not have possibly known. Some of the things I did not even know or recognize at the time! For instance my inner voice is very negative twords myself and that certain things in my past regarding my family were still impacting me in a negative way. She not only points these things out to you but she also directs you to the begining point on working on them in a positive constructive way. I have to say that working with Molly helped me open up my eyes to a whole new world and with her help and loving direction she guided me to a point where I was able to work on myself and was able to achieve a level of inner happiness, peace and ballance. I looked at things differently and approached obstacles in a different manner. After just a few sessions I felt more grounded than I had in years. I understand myself more, have a plan and I feel a lot better and have more energy. Molly made me feel special and loved. She is a beautiful compassionate and gifted woman. Positive energy just radiates from her and through her tallent. She truly cares about you as an individual and has a calling to help people. With her gift and her big heart that is exactly what she does. I highly recommend Molly if you are looking to try reiki I can't recommend her enough and highly recommend doing the extra counceling session at the end to go over the session thoroughly and to gain her experienced insight and guidance. Meeting and working with Molly has been a life altering experience for me and I feel a closeness to her and consider her my mentor, my shaman and my friend. She helped me find myself again and to no longer be defined by my illness. Stacey Carbary

“I don’t need a career, or life coach – I know my direction.” When a 2.5 year, full-time contract came to an end a coworker suggested that I might find it helpful to see a friend of hers whom had a coaching and consultancy business (yielding an eye roll from me). As a bit of a favor, I contacted Deb. I have always been laser-focused with my career. I am often the go-to caregiver, and document-person in my family. I pride myself in being able to keep it all together while exceeding goals and expectations. I was blindsided when my first meeting with Deb was a complete catharsis. She helped me slow down, refine my pitch, and build on my strengths as they applied to some of the new skill sets I had acquired, and would be offering as I set out to build my business again. During the couple of months we worked together, Deb was very detailed with our agreed upon goals from meeting-to-meeting. She often followed up between meetings to help me stay on track, and provided subtle but effective encouragement (remember – I didn’t need a coach). An unexpected bonus was that Deb also happens to be very connected and opened a few key doors for me by making introductions. If you are skeptical about engaging with a “coach,” Deb will amaze you. You’ll wish you had met her ten years earlier. I have a feeling she is a unique coach. I know that I will be engaging with Deb again. -- Cindy Davis

Jim is a wonderful coach! I highly recommend him as he takes the time to listen to you and he really cares about your outcome- it shows that he is passionate about his work! He and I have had about 5 sessions so far and he is helping me see more clearly what I want from my life and work. It's a process, and I sometimes feel all over the place- but Jim can really get to the core and ask you, "When you get this (and you will!) do you really want it, and why?" So success is a reality, and I feel I'm taking charge of my life, career and happiness! I'm thankful to have found such a great life coach in Jim, he's professional yet down to earth and I look forward to our next session!

Rose Siple was my spiritual guide through Thought Alchemy's 20 Week Co-Creating Pathing journey towards building my life and ultimate long term goal of a to that I would truly love to live, but also as one I loved living, here and now. My transformation including healing of my own inner turmoil but also inter-personal healing with others in both my personal and professional life. Only through understanding my own perspective as well as opening, acknowledging, and appreciating other's perspective's in any given situation with love and compassion I learned that communication was not only possible but necessary and essential. Reflecting back now, I can see the dramatic difference in my approach to new challenges and conflicts where I once approached with fear, insecurity, and anxiety are now met with confidence, self-assuredness and flexibility. Loving my life now, here, today is so much simpler and flows so much smoother with greater ease now that I no longer struggle against changes but accept gracefully with optimism. I can only add this choice, my choice to freely accept and embrace which was presented and offered by the Universe, God, Infinite presence or whatever whatever belief anyone has, was a welcomed one I'll forever be thankful for!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Natasha for the past few years. Her impressive insight and instincts have taken me further than I thought possible. Natasha is always there to provide advice, coaching, ideas and support, with a keen ability to draw out my true goals and desires through self-realization. She helped me accentuate and build upon my strengths to increase my effectiveness, while also addressing those areas of need to position myself in the marketplace. What I value most though, has been the motivation and support during some of the most important years of my professional life. I can’t say enough about Natasha, what she has done for me, and what a genuinely great person she truly is.

I am only a week in with working with Jeremy and have already felt a difference. The most impressive change I have noticed are my habits. Instead of sitting on the couch for hours on end and snacking, I will get up, do some cardio, eat some dinner and watch ONE episode of my favorite show. I also have had much more energy where getting up in the morning doesn't seem like an impossible task. Although I am probably in the worst shape of my life right now, I am excited to get "it back." I am looking forward to long runs this fall, developing a yoga routine, becoming stronger in the weight room and more importantly create and maintain a fundamental nutrition plan that I can carry for the rest of my life.

      About

Be your own hero. Hero (noun) is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. "You're my hero -- me to everyone, all the time!" I'm so fortunate to spend my time surrounded by amazing humans. I'm in awe of their strength, their courage, and their awesomeness. Even when I'm not with them, I turn on the TV, scroll through Twitter or walk down the street and suddenly, I'm in awe of complete strangers (and animals with social media accounts). Seriously, humans (and Internet quadrupeds) are so cool! We live in a world chock full of heroes -- living beings that inspire us, and that we believe are worthy of our respect and total admiration, but, here's the thing. This constant focus on the heroism of others distracts us from our inner hero -- our strength, our courage, and our awesomeness. I mean, look at that cool thing that guy did! How dare we think we can do that? How dare we admit to ourselves that we are worthy of a hero status? Look at all this proof we've collected to explain why we're not cool/smart/rich/creative enough to do the things we want to do and be the people we want to be. Why should we even bother? We're not as cool as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and we never will be! Wah! Lies. The truth is this: We're all heroes to someone, and we really need to start being heroes to ourselves. Let's all put on our big-girl/-boy pants, tie our capes, and soar.

Our purpose at 21 Switchbacks is to create remarkable lives. My writing asks and seeks to answer questions dealing with the following topics: Work and purpose. What does "success" really mean? How can we be more productive and fulfilled in our current work? Courage. Which risks are worth taking? How can we balance our desire to make the most of our youth with pragmatic and long-term concerns? What are we actually afraid of, anyway? Mindfulness. How can we train our minds to work for us, instead of the other way around? How can we cultivate more compassion and kindness? How can we be happier, without so many ups and downs? Life and habits. Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

      What is a life coach?

A professional, accredited life coach works with people to help them make important changes in their life, either growing in their profession or changing gears in their personal lives. They help clients turn their dreams or wishes into realistic, attainable goals. They guide people through the process of making life changes by helping them evaluate the steps they must take to reach a particular goal, then help them decide how — and whether — to take those steps in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. A life coach acts as a motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Unlike a therapist, a life coach doesn’t help solve problems from your past — they’re focused on helping you move forward with new ways of acting and thinking that will help you reach your goals. Some people specialize in particular types of life coaching, including life balancing coaches, small business coaches, executive coaches and personal finance coaches. Some meet clients in person, while others hold consultations over the phone.

Regardless of which type of life coach you’re interested in, make sure the person holds an International Coach Federation (ICF) credential. There are three tiers of credentials: Associate, Professional and Master, which require coaching experience ranging from 100 hours to 2,500 hours.

How much does a life coach cost?

A life coach helps clients set and reach professional and personal goals, develop positive habits, and deal with stress. Some people meet with a life coach once or twice, while others form an ongoing professional relationship, meeting regularly in person or on the phone. The average national cost to meet with a life coach ranges from $80 to $130 an hour. Some coaches offer per-session pricing, especially for one-time meetings; expect to pay an average of $100-$125. People who want to work with a coach over a period of time to explore life transitions, career growth or lifestyle changes may be able to get discounted pricing in a package. For example, three 60-minute sessions cost an average of $300, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $350, and four 60- to 90-minute sessions plus unlimited contact between sessions cost an average of $400. Some specific types of coaching, such as relationship or marriage coaching, cost more than standard life coaching. For instance, three 60-minute relationship coaching sessions cost an average of $500, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $550, and six 60- to 90-minute sessions cost an average of $650 when purchased as a package. Training and experience can also affect the cost of hiring a life coach. An Associate Certified Coach, who holds a certification that requires only 60 hours of training and 100 hours of coaching experience, will charge less than a Master Certified Coach, who typically has at least 200 hours of training and 2,500 hours of coaching experience.

      Why get a life coach?

People of all ages and in all careers have called in a life coach. Life coaches are accredited professionals who can help you figure out the tangible changes you can make in your life to reach your goals; they can even help you turn your dreams into goals, if you’re not sure where to go next. A life coach can also help people find their purpose in life. Life coaching clients often have an idea of what they want to do, such as help people or work with animals, but don’t know how to turn that passion into a career. A life coach can help clients work through the options to find a clear path with concrete steps that lead to an attainable goal. A life coach can also help clients make a major career change, such as starting a new business. Life coaches can help clients develop better habits that will make them more successful, acting as an accountability partner. Life coaches also often guide their clients through major transitions in life, such as a career change or other stressful situations that are made easier with guidance from a neutral third party.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
