We had a great experience working with Rafael & Son. Rafael came out for a free quote quickly and was thorough with the options we had for painting the exterior of our home. We live by the ocean so he made sure to use the higher quality paint that lasts in moisture-rich environments. The work was also done faster than expected and his crew were flexible. We will definitely work with Rafael again in future projects.

Rafael and Son did a great job restoring and painting the exterior of our aging Cape Cod-style house in Rhode Island. Rafael himself is an excellent communicator, quickly returning every call and text, thoroughly and graciously answering every question. He also quoted a very reasonable price compared to the market these days, gave us a specific timeline in our contract–along with a 10-year warranty–after which his courteous and respectful crew were unfailingly prompt and worked continuously from day one, finishing the job well within the time allowed. And our house is now the shining star of our fine block. Highly recommend!

Excellent work and service. I highly recommend. Rafael and his crew completed an exterior paint job for my house (3,500+ sq ft) that included multiple colors, repairing wood soffit and window framing. His team did a thorough job from start to finish. They spent the whole first day power-washing to properly prep the surface. When I was getting other quotes, another contractor said power-washing wasn't necessary and it's fine to paint over the grime (!). Rafael listened and made sure we were happy every step of the way. He didn't just show up to collect the checks. He did quality-control with his team to ensure the final result was neat and crisp. I'm thrilled about the quality and level of professionalism we received from Rafael.

Rafael and his crew showed up every day, on time, and worked as efficiently as they possibly could. Communicating with Rafael directly throughout this process was seamless, as he responded immediately to any concerns or questions that we had. His team painted the entire exterior of our home, including the cement foundation and doors, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We will be recommending Rafael & Son to anyone that is looking for a quality paint job at a fair price!

I hired Rafael and sons because of the positive responses. I read on Thumbtack. Rafael responded the same day. I contacted him. He was at my home the day after that giving me a fair estimate the day after that him and his team arrived ready to work what I thought would take longer only took a day, they also painted my stairs and laid a runner on my stairs that I asked if he could do. The job looked wonderful. I had my kitchen and two bedrooms painted. I would recommend Rafael and sons to anyone looking for a professional painter.
