- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my PhD in polymer engineering from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. I have had extensive tutoring and teaching experience, both private and professional. After graduating from Columbia University in with my Bachelor's in Chemistry, I was a teacher in Lansing, MI, as well as a freelance tutor, where I have accumulated over 500 hours of instruction. I often utilize classroom management and individualized techniques when working with students to ensure that they understand the material. As a freelance tutor, I have tutored students at the high school and college levels in SAT and ACT prep (my own SAT score was in the >99th percentile and I was a National Merit Scholar), college preparation (particularly highly-motivated students), and general and organic chemistry.
