I have trained with Charlene on several occasions one on one and group training like boot camp etc. She is very attentive to everybody in the group and makes sure you are working out at your level. My personal trainings with her were very educational and effective.

I've been working out with Mike and CYBBC since June 2011. I'm a 41 year old male. When I started the workouts I was 198 lbs and now I'm at 183 lbs and feeling better than ever. I've had personal trainers; done the back bi's, chest, tri's workouts; and had a gym membership that gets inconsistent use. What makes Mike's program so effective is that he sets a specific weight goal for you, gives you a simple diet plan; is a workout coach and nutritional advisor for all clients. This is way more than a basic workout class taught by your local gym. I thought I was eating right and working out the right way to lose weight before joining CYBBC. The workouts push you to do the extra 20% effort that you could never do on your own. That extra 20% effort is what gets results. I haven't been in this kind of shape since high school. I'm stronger, faster and have loads more energy. Mike taught me what is takes. And it works.
Kalin is a great trainer! He is good at motivating his clients to reach their fitness goals. He is also good at keeping the workouts different every time you train so that you dont get bored. I would recommend him as a trainer. His schedule is also very flexible.
I have been attending Eastern MA Adventure Boot Camp since its inception almost 5 years ago. Without serious dieting I have dropped 15 pounds and 4 pants sizes. This is as fun as exercising can get! In all these years Shannon has virtually never repeated a routine. She keeps it fresh and keeps us motivated. I see no end to my attendance!
Kathy has personal trained me and I have also taken her group exercise classes including spinning, weight training, kickboxing, boot camp, etc., for many years. I love working with her because she pushes you to work hard and gives you the confidence you need to go the distance. She is also very knowledgeable with injuries and knows how to stretch and exercise the body to prevent injuries and also aid in their healing. I had a sore back once while training with her and she knew exactly what to do. I give her 5 stars because she has taken me above and beyond my goals.
Whenever I saw Emanuel's Before and After photo's I said if he can go from 300 pounds to 200 when I first met him. I said there was some hope for me. I wanted to loose about 30 pounds. I lost 27 pounds total. I was pleased with my results. I went from size 20 in my clothes to a size 10. I was SHOCKED (in a good way) with my results. Then I stopped working out thinking I can maintain it on my own. I was wrong and gained all and more of my weight back. I am now back at Unified Fitness working out Faithfully enjoying Boot Camp with my fellow team members. We all have such a great time and I see everyone's Total Body Transformation.
Amazing bootcamp! Carrie is the ultimate motivator...I'm not a morning person but she puts the positive pressure on that makes you want to work. The routines vary daily so you don't feel stagnant which keeps it interesting and challenging. I feel energized and it keeps me going for the entire day. I can see the results already - Carrie keeps it fun & once it's done, you look forward to the day. The mix of workouts are a 'muscle confusion' for your body and the results happen quick. There is no comparison to a regular gym membership routine - you're working with a group. Everyone makes you accountable & at the end of the day you're glad you attended =)

South Eastern Connecticut Fitness Bootcamp is a results-driven conditioning program that will shape, tone, and define your body. There are two class times at 60-minute duration per class. The classes are conducted "on the move" in an indoor/outdoor environment. The class is conducted utilizing a military-style format, using innovative and creative exercises in fitness. South Eastern Connecticut Fitness Bootcamp workouts include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular, speed and endurance, partner resistance, strength training, resistance bands, jump ropes, yoga mats, and stairs. I expand your fitness horizons with fitness games, relays, scavenger hunts, group challenges, wheelbarrow races, kickboxing, plyometrics, box drills, obstacle course, and guerrilla drills. On top of the amazing exercise regimen, you will also receive a nutrition journal and sample menu/meal plans ($25 value). These will be handed out on the first day of class. I will also conduct an initial fitness assessment on all campers on the first day of class.
