Introduction: Voted Best Strength Gym for 2017 Rhode Island Monthly This space is a community of people all reaching their goals. We will improve your areas the need more attention to make your strengths even better. Each program is customized to the individual based on the movement screen we perform. The studio is not a place for one off workouts, it is a collection of sessions s geared toward a specific goal, YOURS. We start off with getting a solid foundation and building from there. You CAN NOT put Fitness on top of Dysfunction... Rebuild your body the way you did as a child by crawling, rolling, rocking, half kneeling, lunging, and hinging. These progressions will make sure we remove the negative and get the positive long term changes. If you have never heard of a VIPR, check it out .... Everyone who walks through our doors is unique. There are no, one size fits all program template. It is always a different day for me, everyone evolves so I have to constantly, keep learning to help improve there fitness levels. It has never been a job for me, the reward of helping some remove pain, feel better, reach a goal they thought was impossible is my reward. This is why I love my job....

I met Jamie and What is Movement a little over a year ago. I went in for a beginner kettlebell class and fell in love with his style, passion and commitment to each of his clients. I have enjoyed working out my whole life but as I aged I tended to shy away from doing anything to crazy but after the first couple of classes I knew that this was just the thing for me. What I love the most is how he stresses: Safety, Mobility and Strength in order to have a healthy body. I couldn't agree with him more. In order for you to have a healthy body you must have balance of all 3 and that is exactly what you will get at What is Movement. Not only is Jamie one of the most knowledgeable people that I have met, He is also very passionate about it and you can feel/see that when you take a class with him. The equipment is top notch and the facility is very well kept. I hope more people find this nice little needle in the haystack in Warwick, RI as I have found. Ryan M

If you're looking for a trainer who will take the time to work with you on achieving your goals, then Jamie is the one you want. I have worked with other trainers in the past, but none had as much passion or dedication for their profession and their clients. For the past three years, Jamie has worked with me on achieving my goals and then some. He pays attention to what is working and what is not, and adjusts the workout accordingly. You don't just go through the motions when you workout with Jamie. He will explain to you why you do each exercise, helps you understand the benefits of each move, and how it relates to achieving your goals. I highly recommend Jamie as a personal trainer.

Jamie Enriques is like no other trainer I've had. The knowledge he brings to the workouts are informative and effective to strange pains and injury recovery, he is thinking of you and how your moving. He is extremely passionate and motivating. I am impressed with his knowledge and understanding of Vipr, strength training, kettle bells and functional mobility. I have learned so much for the past two years of being a member of this inclusive gym.

Jamie has been training me for over a year. My strength, flexibility and mobility are lightyears beyond what I ever thought possible. Before what is movement I was working out at health clubs, sorting through endless articles and books to find workouts and put my own programs together, seeing minimal progress and frequently getting injured. Jamie helped me to set a proper foundation, identified and corrected my imbalances and pushes me everyday to challenge myself and succeed.
