I hired Stephen last summer to install a screen door on the front door of the house. The door was not designed to have a screen door, so he had to design a frame build out to accommodate the screen door and handle the stress of the door opening and closing. He did a great design, made the build out look like part of the original door frame, and installed the door. Terrific job and a great person to work with. I'm already building out my list of other jobs I need done on the house and will definitely be calling Stephen to get them done.
I recently hired Herson to install a new bathroom fan at my home. He was the consummate professional and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend him for any project you have around your home!
They did some interior paint work for us and I cannot say enough about the high level of professionalism and attention to detail!
George replaced a front door and storm door at our home. Everything went well from beginning to end. Communication was great, he was punctual and personable. There was an issue with the door frame of the door we purchased, and he was able to correct the problem so that the door would fit. His installation and trim finishing workmanship were top notch. We will most certainly call on him again for carpentry work any time the need arises once again.
We recently had some trim work done on an accent wall in our living room that took up an entire 8x16' wall. There was a lot of cutting in and fine detail work because some of the design was flush to our kitchen cabinets. All of the trim design plus crown molding and baseboards needed to be painted and holes and seams filled. Paul came to the rescue! He responded quickly to all emails and messages. He was able to give an accurate quote after I sent him some pictures. He was very detail oriented. You would never know there were nail holes and seams on the wall as he made the elite design seamless. Most would have rushed through the job since it was just one wall, but Paul took his time to make sure it was done right the first time. I would absolutely hire Paul again!
I hired Tim to help put all the finishing touches on a house I am renovating. I have a deadline to get the home on the market, and Tim quoted me a decent price, within my budget and his work is excellent. The job consisted of installing a few interior doors, windows, and a few stair cases, a small deck and some railings. He also did a lot of drywall work and boxed in some electrical, gas and water lines for me. I am very happy with his attention to detail, and how he was able to figure out ways to get the job done right and bring everything together. He and Eric are very nice people and I will be certainly hiring them again for my next project.
Rob installed an antique interior door that required new hinges, handle hardware and fill work. His work was impeccable as he re-sized the door and hung it true and balanced. I would definitely hire him again.
David was extremely easy, professional, and nice to work with. He was very accommodating and did excellent workthe paint lines were perfect. I will definitely be using him for more work with my interior design clients.
I hired Joe to install some interior and exterior doors for me. I never waited long for Joe to respond to questions and he was very clear in his communication regarding timeline and approach, etc. The work Joe did was top notch and he made the work look easy. Always pleasant to deal with, I would/will hire Joe again for future jobs.
Royal Contracting worked on our enclosed front porch and on our kitchen/family room area, as well as on some smaller projects such as interior painting and installing a new back door. All of the work--painting, flooring, counter tops, lighting--went very well and we have gotten many compliments on the updates. Dermot and the people who work with him are very pleasant and helpful.
Katrina freshened and updated my home in Barrington RI with new paint colors, upholstery, throw pillows and window treatments. She also accessorized and decluttered rooms and rearranged furniture for a cleaner and more updated look in my home. Her vendors were all wonderful and the work excellent. Katrina has an impeccable eye for color and fabric and strives to make her clients very happy. I would highly recommend her for any interior project.
I am very pleased with the fence, gate, and arbor construction and installation and shutter installation -- I have received many compliments already and will contact Mr. Henderson again for other work. Thank you, Jim!
Anthony did an excellent job replacing a rotted patio door sill. He was prompt, professional, and communicated with me very well. The job was finished perfectly and efficiently, with no muss or fuss. Terrific experience and I would absolutely hire him again.
Tim and crew were hired to convert a breezeway space into a four season room. This involved demolishing and rebuilding two outside walls, removing shingle from the other two walls, and finishing the interior to the point of being ready for painting. He installed a slider, exterior doors, and windows. From the estimate phase through completion, Tim was upfront and professional. He and his crew did quality work, from excellent finish carpentry to making sure the site was cleaned up after each day's work. If problems were found along the way, Tim brought them to my attention promptly and worked collaboratively to find solutions. The only downside of this experience was having the start date of the job delayed. Despite that, however, Tim completed the job within my required timeline. I think all builders have challenges with time/job management, so that said, Tim performed relatively well. I would hire him again, and give high recommendations. Thanks, guys, for your awesome work!
I hired Walt to repair/reinforce a wood floor. He was hardworking and honest; he did not try to sell me unnecessary services or products. His hourly wage was also very reasonable given his skill set. I plan on using Walt for future projects.
David was the best assembler I have had over the last few years. He put together a lamp, a rolling cart table and even cut the legs down on my bar stools to fit the table. Thank you Daivd for a quick, professional, extremely reasonable job. The furniture was from Create and Barrel.
Innovation Construction is a truly professional company who do top quality work in an organized, easy to work with and fairly priced manner. After years of mishaps with many contractors its been a relief to find one company I can trust to complete jobs using my input as needed versus acting as though my property is now owned by them. The interior and exterior work completed has included finishing my basement, interior flooring and trim install; exterior work includes new mahogany stairway entrance and on ground mahogany deck including a brick fireplace. Keith is easy to work with, organized and responsible. He even took concern about using an appopriate Green flooring product inside to assist in alleviating health problems (asthma) for the kids. Finaly after years of agonizing about which contractor to call its calming and reassuring to know I can call keith at Innovation Constuction to complete any constuction project.
After years of contemplation my wife and I decided to completely renovate our Cedar Home home inside and out. On the outside the job included the replacement of 4 of 10 exterior decks, 2 in Cedar and 2 in Ipe ( our new Ipe decks look the the deck of a yacht), replacement of 6 sliding doors with new Anderson sliding doors which included 4, 10 foot doors, as well as the replacement of our two regular outside doors and the design and construction of a new roofed entrance with cedar walls and ceiling. It further included the replacement of tongue and groove vertical cedar siding. As this siding can not easily be purchased Peter had to make the siding from scratch. We also replaced all the exterior trim around the doors, sliders and between the vertical courses of the siding. Peter also rebuilt and stabilized our cedar encased chimney which was about to fall over. Due to poor flashing when the house was built the frame work of the sliders and decks were rotted which meant Peter had to do a lot of demolition, engineering and thereafter reconstruction. On the inside Pete has also done a complete renovation, including the development and building of our kitchen, replacement of our two stairways with banisters, wood trim throughout the house in solid cherry and will soon begin our two bathrooms with vanities. Peter's work is nothing more than outstanding. In my honest opinion if you searched the state of Massachusetts in fact the entire country you would be hard pressed to find anyone who would do a better job, or anyone who is more competent. No matter how complex the task, or how impossible it seems, Peter approaches it methodically without a fuss and before you know it the job is completed. Needless to say this job was extensive so I had some time to get to know Peter as well. In addition to be highly accomplished Peter is highly intelligent, well spoken, kind, patient and genuinely a nice person. I give Peter my highest recommendation. I might add that I rarely write reviews and in fact I can only think of five that I have ever written. You won't go wrong with Peter Kress
I've hired Nick Lavallee to do some exterior work on my home, exterior repairs on my businesses, as well as new construction in the office. All of the jobs were done perfectly, on budget, and on time. Nick's passion for quality is evident in every job he's done for me. Lavallee Carpentry is now my "go-to" for home and work construction and repair projects.
Dan installed 4 new construction windows for me as well as reframing both interior and exterior of the windows and the work was great. He kept me in the loop throughout the whole time and cleaned up after they were finished. Dan is very professional and I will be using him again!
My husband and I moved into a condo and decided to start fresh with furnishings. The open floor plan included a large main room that spacious, but longer than wider. While I had an idea of how I wanted the room to look, I was unsure how to achieve it. My real estate agent recommended contacting Carleen and it turned out to be a wonderful suggestion. Carleen visited our home and listened as I told her what type of layout I was envisioning and what type of furnishings and styles I liked. Carleen was an excellent listener and after deciding we could work together she left with the promise of returning with potential layouts, furniture choices, and fabric samples. Carleen returned after a week or so armed with computer layouts, fabric swatches, and furniture catalogs. Carleen spent a great deal of time with me, making suggestions, answering questions, and guiding me through the process of making my vision a reality. Carleen would end up creating a den/conversation space/office area that fulfilled and surpassed my expectations. The room is the entry to our home and the focal point and has been a source of pleasure for both my husband and I, as well as our guests. We have had many compliments on the layout, the furnishings, and the lovely color scheme. Carleen also helped me to design and purchase window treatments for a bay window and two sliders, each design complimenting the interior design of the rooms. Carleen was professional, prompt, organized and dependable in every way, while still being friendly and putting both me and my husband at ease throughout the whole process. I could not ask for a better professional and person to work with and I highly recommend her for her professionalism, creativity, and dedication to her clients. Any time I need help with any sort of decorating in the future Carleen will be the first and only call I'll make.
Chris has worked on my "flat" roof several times -- it is rolled rubber now (formerly asphalt which continuously failed) because of him and his Dad determining rubber to be the best solution to the continuous leaking I had my family had experienced since 1947 when the house was built. The roof he and his Dad installed (SW Debbs LLC) is protecting my 1947 "modern" house with a roof that looks flat but is efficiently pitched. The roof on this house always presented problems with its asphalt coating used over decades -- major leaks and interior damage had consistently occurred. Chris and his father installed rolled rubber to remedy the situation. They also discovered through close examination that some seepage was occurring via eroded concrete on a decorative parapet. They applied material that stopped this water seepage efficiently. What a relief to find someone who would not walk away from a challenge -- someone who stuck with the problem until it was solved satisfactorily! Rare! Most recently Chris and his Dad repaired a portion of the "flat" roof that had been installed (before I met them) by another contractor. They adjusted the slight pitch of that portion of the roof to channel the run-off efficiently, installed insulation which had not been done previously, and re-installed rolled rubber properly. Again, a long-standing problem was diagnosed and solved at a reasonable cost. Chris is efficient, on time, focused, friendly, and totally reliable. He gets the job done at a reasonable price. I am currently renovating a colonial house from the 1790s, and I intend to have the roof rebuilt and replaced by Chris' company. I know him to be honest, hard-working, dependable, and determined to solve problems and produce robust results. I offer my highest recommendation!
