When hiring a photographer for any type of glamour of pin up photographs, it is important to feel comfortable with who you are working with. Find out who will be in the studio with you, if there is a private area to change into wardrobe, and what you get for your money. Take into consideration that not all photographers retouch their images, and not all photographers know how to use Photoshop properly. Does the photographer you are looking to hire give you tips before your photoshoot, such as to avoid sodium and caffeine at least 24 hours before the shoot. Salty foods and caffeine cause dehydration, dehydration causes water retention which can make you feel and look bloated. Fruits & veggies and drinking water actually combat water retention and you'll feel better and look slimmer for your shoot. When you hire a photographer, realize that the photographer should not just work on the day of your session. A photographer should be working before, during, and after your session!
