Math Made Simple has done a wonderful job tutoring my son. I am currently on my second time using them. The first time I used them to help my son improve his SAT math score, which he raised by several points. Now, I am using them again to help him earn a higher grade in Algebra 2, as well as earn an even higher score on the SAT. The tutors are prompt, helpful, and friendly. They have made math much easier to understand for my son, and I would highly recommend using this company.

Kevin has been tutoring my 9th grade son for many months for Algebra I. He helped bring my son's grade up from failing to a high B, about 30 points. He has also started working with him on Physical Science. He now tutors my 6th grade daughter in math and science. He is very patient with my children and helps them understand the material they are working on. He gives my husband and I feedback after each session on how they did and their progress. Kevin is professional and always timely. He is also accommodating to my family's busy schedule. I highly recommend Kevin.

The math she taught my granddaughter was outstanding. The one on one was great and my granddaughter like her and she was very easy to understand. My granddaughter leaned a lot.

Phil is great even with the toughest students. He does not allow them to move on until there is understanding of the current material. He has made it possible for our 16 year old to take college math! Phil is flexible with scheduling and accountable to the student and your family. Highly recommend him for your students!

About

I provide outstanding math tutoring to all grade levels including college levels online in any area or in person in the Charleston area. Not only do I have a masters degree in mathematics (3.9 GPA), but I have been helping students become successful in math classes since 1999. I have worked in the math lab at the College of Charleston and have been a personal tutor. I have worked as a supplemental instructor at the college, as a teacher's assistant, and as an adjunct instructor for Trident Technical College, and am now a full-time high school math teacher and department chair at a local private school. Students love my attention to detail, the confidence I instill in them and the dry sense of humor that goes along with our exploration of the subject at hand. I understand not everyone adores math the way I do. However, with my help, you will learn the skills necessary to make the grades you want.
