Meagan is amazing!! She is kind and awesome at what she does. I’ve seen such a difference with my 4 year old dachshund Milo in the past couple of weeks. I love how she trains YOU as well that way you can work with your dog from home and you have all the information to train 24/7. She tells you what you NEED to hear and its refreshing to not have it sugar coated, to make for the most well behaved dog. Milo is now able to walk past unknown dogs and humans without lunging and barking, and is able to go in his cage without having panic attacks and so much more. She is a lifesaver and I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for dog training:) Thank you meaganJul 8, 2020Verified
Meagan is an awesome trainer! My dog, Otis, is a very timid and fear-aggressive dog. She was willing to work with him extensively to give me the tools necessary to control him and socialize him. She is very positive and encouraging and Otis loved his time there. She is available for follow on training and boarding as well. 100% recommended!Dec 17, 2019VerifiedAu Pair for Paws Dog Training's reply

Jill gave insights and handouts on various aspects of Scout's training. We are independently incorporating her advice into our work with Scout.Sep 29, 2020Verified
Au Pairs for Paws was amazing at training lucy. I never though i would get her to the point that she is now ignoring people and able to be off leash in many situations. Megan did an amazing job with lucy with her now being comfortable around people. I would definitely advise you to try Au Pair for Paws out you won’t regret it.Aug 31, 2020Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer packages that come out to discounted rates per training session. All board and trading programs include prong collar, ecollar and a go home session ($320 value)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked in multiple shelters with various breeds and various behavioral issues. I also apprenticed with Lead the Pack Dog Training in New York for about a year before fully going out on my own. Working in the shelter gave me a lot of hands on experience with dogs that have had abuse, neglect or anxiety issues. Also, it helped me socialize dogs that were more than likely not well socialized to begin with. I like to say the dogs are the teachers and they make you better at what you do.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?I have a form that you can fill out on my website about your goals for your dog and what you expect out of me as a trainer.
