I trusted this company to get the job done right the first time. We had an issue with our lawn back in June, and the people that came out made it worse. After that, we sent in a request on Thumbtack for two landscapers. Bruce came in July with his company and laid down new sod. As instructed to do, my husband and I busted our tails for two weeks watering our lawn every 45 minutes - over 5500 sq. ft. After two weeks of watering, my husband and I noticed there were bare spots in the areas on the side of our house, which was very upsetting. The rest of the lawn looked good. After making attempts to call the company back, Mr. Bruce came back and said he would replace the bad sod, but would not fix the bad spots on the side yard because it wasn't his fault. I went to my lawyer and he told me to get a second opinion, so I did and I was told that Mr. Bruce did not put down enough topsoil, and that's why we were having the bare spot. My lawyer sent me a letter so I could prove that this was done. Mr. Bruce lied to my lawyer, saying that he could fix the problem, but we would have to pay him $400 even though we already paid him in full for the job, and that we declined to do so. He never told us that. If I had known all this would have happened I would have gone with another professional. He still has not fixed the problem.

They listened when I said that I only wanted to bushes trimmed-- not cut down to a typical level. Just right! The price is appropriate for the size yard we have, when other companies wanted to charge more. They have only come out once so far but hopefully we will be this satisfied after the next time!

Bruce, Matt and other guys take pride in their work. They have good communication skills and a great work ethic. They were on time and went above and beyond on re-sodding my lawn.
