Flute Lessons (for adults)
Ryan at Woodwind Fox responded to my inquiry personally, not a standard form letter. He has a wealth of knowledge in the music field. His use of technology during lessons is impressive and very user friendly. He is very accommodating to my schedule. I would recommend his services to anyone interested in trying on-line music lessons.Oct 22, 2017Verified
Ryan is such an awesome person all around! He helped me perfect my flute solo for a marching band show and helped me overcome my fear of standing on a tall ladder. He has so much patience, and anyone would be lucky to work with him! - Kamia McDanielsMay 20, 2017
Ryan was very organized and prepared. He was kind during lessons, and made sure my son understood what he needed to complete before the next lesson. Ryan was able to demonstrate proper techniques, as well as quickly problem solve to give my son more confidence when he struggled with a concept.May 20, 2017
Ryan has taught our daughter private bassoon lessons for over a year now. He has a great balance of musical gifting (and an ability to communicate that well), as well as great people skills (good communication, easy-going and kind, but keeps things moving forward). Our daughter has really enjoyed having him as a teacher!Mar 3, 2017
Ryan is such an awesome teacher! He's so patient and encouraging, but he challenges you and pushes you to try new things and get better than you already are! I would totally recommend him to any aspiring bassoon player that's looking for a crazy fun and awesome lesson teacher!Mar 14, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There is a pricing system laid out on my "Rates & Policies" page of my website. There you'll find many different options based on different packages. Generally, lessons range from $20-$25 for a half-hour, and $40-$45 for an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Because it's such a different way to how most people have learned in the past, all first timers receive a FREE, 30-minute Skype lesson. I find it very important new students have an opportunity to not only experience online learning, but also to take part in the environment that I set up, without any commitment other than just to try it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Master of Music in Multiple Woodwind Performance from the University of South Carolina (December 2017) Bachelor of Arts in Music from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio
